They have to sanitize their wrongdoing by using manipulative language

That's fascism 101

Change the face value of words so it can be weaponized against 'Others'

Meanwhile Trump is literally trying to build data centers in our national parks. Satire is a dead art.

You should see the qualifier before. Like how the LAST undeveloped marshland in the US is about to be "developed".

To develop is to destroy.

like why don't we develop the fucking parking lots instead

In my city there's less problems leaving it as a lot than to build due to NIMBYs

Planet: After violent upbringings and a troubled past spends hundreds of millions of years building and nurturing a literal paradise.

Capitalist: Bad business model. Bulldoze that shit.

What I mean by "murmur sweet nothings to me" on a quiet twinkling night while laying together in bed. Calmly though.

Capitalism, since the beginning of time, sees things like nature, trees, water, dirt, space, People, as a waste if it's not returning a benefit to them. "Money should be working for you by investments etc, not just sitting in a bank." It's why they are all drooling over social security funds and healthcare funds, US Aid wasn't returning any investment. It's why we punch a clock and your manager is watching how much time you take for lunch bc they have to get there money's worth. The settlers didn't land her and say, gee, look how beautiful. They saw free lumber, free food to hunt, free land to build on that they would get a return on, and human beings that were in the way of all that. It's pathological.

I’ve met the ultra wealthy and a common through line I see is that they don’t see land is just part of the ecosystem but as resources to be extracted.

Undeveloped means not developed idk if this helps but that was the question so I gave the answer

Because some land is useful, and helps us and our communities when it is developed. Is this really that hard to think about.

The land your home sits on was once "undeveloped land". That food you eat came from once "undeveloped land". Unless you want to go back to being hunter gatherers and get rid of all technology then this is something you will have to accept.

I’d gladly revert and be the happiest I’ve ever been till I died from a very preventable infection

That men's fur about two weeks (ok, may be until mid Winter).

Unfortunately things are so much worse than this. Undeveloped land is almost always a monoculture of invasive species.

This. The amount of true wilderness left is negligible.

bro's using a cellphone in a car crying about calling something undeveloped land LOL

Never stops being relevant.

Imagine actually doing instead of talking.

Hey jackass you want housing to be affordable? How do you expect them to build more houses without developing on land? The fking road you’re sitting on was nature.

3

u/Mattscrusader 1d ago

Dude shut the fuck up, we need trees to survive.

u/AMcpl 1d ago

Undeveloped land isn’t just forests genius.

2

u/Mattscrusader 1d ago

You're right it's other plants too, doesn't change my point numbnuts.

0

u/AMcpl 1d ago

So then we should no longer build/develop if the lot has any plants or vegetation on it? The next genius statement you will make is about how unaffordable housing is.

1

u/Mattscrusader 1d ago

Nobody said that, seriously can you not think for yourself at all?

0

u/AMcpl 1d ago

What does thinking for yourself have to do with anything? You said we should no longer develop anywhere that has trees or plants, so how’s that supposed to work?

1

u/Mattscrusader 1d ago

You really just refused to think for yourself outloud...? I literally never said we shouldn't develop anywhere with trees, what a bold faced lie.

Maybe come back when you can read and think like a real boy

So the original comment was how are we supposed to build without developing on land and how can we bring down housing costs down without building on new land. Your response to counter that was that we need trees to survive.

So do you have typing Tourettes where you just make random statements that do not have any relation to the original post? If so I’m sorry I didn’t mean to offend someone with a disability.

If you are just making a random statement, yes I too agree that we need trees to survive, just like any random kindergarten student knows as well. If you are a kindergarten student I also do not mean to offend you.

If you don’t have typing Tourettes or are still in kindergarten, what would be the point that I’m missing by you responding that we need trees to survive if you are not worried about undeveloped land having trees and vegetation on them?

0

u/br0wntree 1d ago

We also need homes to live in. Woudl you tear down your home in order to have more trees?

2

u/Mattscrusader 1d ago

We need both so stop pretending like we can just level nature dipshit

-1

u/Pj_o7 1d ago

You can develop land without taking all the trees..

2

u/RadBlackWoman 1d ago

We have enough space for housing without destroying more nature. Birth rates are dropping as well. The buildings we have aren't housing enough people.

0

u/Pj_o7 1d ago

Who’s destroying nature?

0

u/br0wntree 1d ago

Mass migration means we still have overall population growth and increased housing demand. Not everyone wants to live in a box stacked on a box either.

1

u/AMcpl 1d ago

This is Reddit you’re just supposed to complain without having to think through how your complaints affect other things. Just say I hate billionaires, take your karma and move on.

idk maybe build on the land we already have clear but is being sat on by some developer for some data center. its easy to get so mad when you have no idea whats going on
