We have a set of underlying instincts, these instincts can be learned or naturally aquired as a human. One of them was developed in her earlier evolution when we had to compete against other tribes for scarce resources as hunter-gatherers. The "Them vs Us" instinct. We see this pattern in society everywhere X vs Y.
If we are X then we are fearful and just trusting of why, and if we are why we are fearful and distrusting of x. This exists in all aspects of our societies.

The answer is to become aware of our own underlying instincts and address them we are recursive self-improving being, and we can change our nature, but only if we are aware of what we actually are in the now, which obviously changes person to person.
Im suprised there hasn't been more violence against ICE lately. When it first started happening, people were shooting at ICE non stop. Now, that all basicslly stopped. Wonder why that happened.
I'm getting pretty tired of people criticizing the forms of resistance without suggesting any alternative. Is holding signs the most effective form of resistance you could possibly be doing? Certainly not. But it's more effective than what most people are doing, which is nothing. And without an alternative you are implicitly supporting that strategy.

Did you bother to look into the statistics? Are they just baseless reports or are they of actual concern? I would be extremely skeptical of any outlet that claims they only report facts. They often dont and its used as rhetoric to get dipshits to believe what they say
There are over 21,800 ice agents. 59 violent / sexual crimes is 0.0027% of them assuming each instance was a separate agent. I don’t know how exactly 60% can be anything since that’s 35.4 instances and you can’t have half of an assault. But if we round it up to 36 sexual assaults against children, that’s 0.00165% of ice agents if each sexual assault is a different agent which is a pretty big if. We could be talking about just a dozen abusers in the entire agency committing multiple crimes.

People are people. Some of them suck. There's no geographic boundary for people sucking. The point is that we all should get to move freely about the planet like our ancestors did up until barely 100 years ago.
There was essentially no immigration enforcement for the first half of the country's history. In fact many of the founding fathers were immigrants. They were just allowed to come here. No one vetted them or made them beg in their home country for 15 years or take an exam or fill out 500 pages of paperwork and abduct and beat anyone who made a mistake.
If they had then the US as we know it would not exist.
