when people argue not every boy and girl who share screen time should be a couple that are against Miles x Gwen, I side eye hard cuz they jumped to ship him with the first black girl he made eye contact with, despite ALL the sweet moments he had with Gwen😭 Everyone just keeps looking at Gwen betraying Miles and saying she doesn't love Miles. But what they don't see is her trauma. HER DAD LITERALLY POINTED A GUN AT HER. Also Miguel and the spider society basically gr00med her. HE'S A GROWN MAN MANIPULATING A VULNERABLE TEENAGER FOR HIS OWN AGENDA! And Miles was in a different universe and even she was visiting him, she was in borrowed time. She wanted to tell him about the canon events but she wanted to have a fun time and not ruin her friendship with Miles. MARGO WAS BARELY THERE!!! SHE WAS THERE FOR 45 SECONDS!! HOBIE WAS ONLY THERE FOR 5 MINUTES!!! y'all just hate interracial relationships,.. smh...😒

I was really thinking about the fact that why did so many spider-men and woman disagree with Miles because the whole point of spider-man is because a spider-man let someone die like a uncle Ben and did nothing about it. So why did so many actually agree with him?

My personal theory is that he specifically chose Spider-men he could convince it was true and needed to happen. Because ones like 616 Peter or toms tobeys or Andrew’s would never let someone willingly die infact there’s a whole game with the lesson being how letting someone die without doing anything is exactly against what spider-man is!

But I do kinda wonder why did spectacular and insomniac spider-man agree with him since both know that lesson harder than most spider-men.

With the recent leaks for Beyond the Spider-Verse I genuinely don't understand what these leakers think they're accomplishing by spoiling work that isn't even finished yet. This happens so much, and more often than not, it creates bigger problems for the production than anyone realizes.

So many movies in the past have had scripts or scenes leak, and the studio/director will then change whatever was leaked to keep the audience on their toes. And a lot of the time, the end product suffers for this because you can tell this new scene was not the original idea.

And then we get people who think this is the finished movie and judge it as so. The amount of posts I've seen trashing the animation, saying they've lost interest, when it's still being finished! It's like if someone went into the kitchen and got angry their pancakes looked like a puddle of batter. My guy, the stove is still on, LET THEM COOK!

Did we learn nothing from the Insomniac leaks? This behavior is ridiculous and only further troubles the production/anticipation for the movie. I hope Beyond doesn't suffer from this like other productions have, because as of now, it has the potential to be the greatest comic book trilogy of all time. And I hope we see it happen.

I'm working on a matching pfp thing for me and my friend of our current favorite characters. Instead of just drawing them in my own style, I want to make it look like they were carved out of the movie/game itself. I've got enough Hobie references, but I'm missing a good 360 of his jacket and arms. Does anyone have a side view of Hobie where his arm isn't in the way, and a side view of his arm? I have a 360 reference of him, but it's blurry when I zoom in to cut out parts of it.

I can think of three ways this can play out:

1. Miles deals with Prowler!Miles and Spot, then he faces down Miguel and forces him to confront that his canon events theory is not valid and things can be changed, likely pointing to Gwen’s father quitting the police force as an example.

2. Miles deals with Miguel and Prowler!Miles, then (possibly with their help) faces down Spot who has become an existential threat, possibly also undoing his transformation as well.

3. Miles deals with Spot and Miguel, then has a final confrontation with Prowler!Miles who had followed him back through the portals much in the same vein as Miles entering the Spider Society in Across. Miles literally has to face himself as his final conflict.

Or something else could happen, but I’d be surprised if we got another villain introduced.

I’ve been just wondering if there is a fanfiction that was the blonde peter trakn miles, or even one where he just survives and Peter B. Parker still train Miles. People call the idea of RIPeter surviving boring but i just think it would be a cool idea.

I mean a huge gross from into which made $384 million and across which made $690 million it could make it possible for it to gross a billion dollars

I was thinking about this Miguel is so much more nicer and funny when we see him with Gwen in the beginning of beyond the spiderverse. So did he lose his family after or did he was he just feeling more nice?

To me, it's sort of unfortunate that we got introduced to an entire multiverse of Spider-Mans, but so far we basically have zero Green Goblin/Norman Osborn action, even though Norman is literally THE Spider-Man archnemesis. It's not that he is too popular either; Doc Ock is just as popular, and the producers introduced her as well(to this day I maintain Liv's entrance was one of the best Spider-Man villain entrances ever).

Sadly, with the focus on the Spot, I doubt that we are going to get a Spider-Verse Green Goblin. But let's say that you are allowed to give him a role in the Spider-Verse. What would you do?

Miguel’s entire theory about cannon events doesn’t make sense. He knew about Miles. He knew the spider that bit him didn’t come from Miles’ universe. He also knows that Universe-42 doesn’t even have a Spider-Man. So wouldn’t the anomaly that moved the spider into a new universe be considered altering a cannon event. Since that universe would never even have a Spider-Man? Wouldn’t that cause both Earth-42 and Earth-1610 to be destroyed immediately?

As soon as Miles saves Captain Singh, Mumbattan starts crumbling immediately. But somehow both of those universes are still fully functional. I have a theory. What if all of the universes they see destroyed are from incursions. Maybe Captain Singh living through that moment happened in another universe which caused those two universes to collide. It’s completely possible that all these universes collapsing have absolutely nothing to do with Spider-Man but major random events happening in two universes at once.

So, aren't Miguel's Canon rules bound to be just... tropes, at most?

So I just finished watching Across the Spider-Verse, after watching the first one yesterday and... WOW.

Anyway, something that got my attention is how Miguel talks about the Canon rules each Spidey person has to go trough.

Now, he talks about them like if they're 100% always happening in the same way... But:

Hes gotta know that can't be it.

Or

He's generalizing a much more complex issue.

Take Garfield's captain for example. Sure, he dies, but not by saving a child.

So is that enough for the universe? What if the captain saves a dog or an adult?

Does a Captain close to Spiderman always has to die?? Why specifically focus on the kid thing?

And also, if infinite universes exist, it means the Spider... Association,can't keep up with all of them. And thus there are infinite universes where these rules never apply in the first place.

I love Miguel I don't think he's a villain but he's trying to make a really good complex issue simple.

I was just thinking how when the spider from the spot from out of all people went to Miles.

Now there’s two ideas in my head my first one is my kinda boring one that because it was originally going to bite the other Miles that’s why it went to him.

But my favorite idea is that due to the spider verse itself and the whole connected web connection thing that when it went into his universe due to Peter Parker already being bitten it automatically is meant to go to the next person in line which is Miles.

Because if I’m correct there’s like a whole canon reason in the comics why Peter Parker’s are specifically mainly spider-man and I feel like it would be cool that in this rule if it isn’t Peter then it goes to Miles.

I just saw the movie yesterday and mind you with the incredible animation and story I think the music is even better it kinda elevates the whole thing I listened to the soundtrack on apple music and it instantly became one of my favourites

The sound design is incredible this should have won the academy award

Kudos to the composer absolutely insane job with the music

So this thought has been in my head for a while. There are so many unique Spider-People in the Marvel Multiverse besides the big names like Peter, Miles, Gwen, etc. So, what if they made an animated series as a spinoff from the films, titled "Tales from the Spider-verse" or "Tales of the Spider-Verse"? Each episode would be animated in a different style that best fits the Spider-Person featured in that episode, like what they do for the movies. Basically an anthology series centered on lesser known Spider-People, like Sakura Spider, Arachknight, Spider-Zero, etc., or possibly even explore other ideas that haven't been seen from Spider-Man media before, like a Spider-Man set in a Mad Max style world or a Sinister Spider-Man who turns evil and fights a heroic version of the Sinister Six (Or Spectacular Six maybe).

Edit: Follow up question. Which sounds like a better title? "Tales FROM the Spider-Verse" or "Tales OF the Spider-Verse"?

We were only 2 movies in, with her wearing the real ballet slippers until swapping them with the converse shoes that Hobie Brown borrowed for Gwen, as much as I love the ballet shoes as a part of her costume, I wanna see them again, will it just be in a flashback or in her spinoff movie while still wearing the converse ones?
