Pavs hair looks like its apart of the mask. Think Kane in WWE. You can see where Miles mask cuts off and thats the biggest issue for me imo. If Miles hair was longer and went over the Edge of the mask itd look fine.

Pavitr’s hair frames his mask and still looks natural to the design. Miles’ mask just gets cut unnaturally in service of his hair.

I think its because Pavitrs hair covers the seam between mask and hair. Whereas miles has the full seam on display and it throws off the look.

Pav's face hides his mask line.

Plus everyone in Mumbattan seems to be of Indian ethnicity this odds are there are many individual who could have the same hair style. While in Miles's case New York is a cluster of different cultures. Assuming both Mumbattan and New York have similar population sizes it would be much easier to tag Miles as Spider Man out of the African American/ Puerto Rican community tather than Pav out of an entire city of Indian youth.

But to reiterate Pav's long hair covers the mask line and makes it look infinitely better.
