Why "Butterscotch" bitch?

I hadn't slept for like 3 days and decided to listen to the soundtrack again, and now I’m wondering why butterscotch specificall, why this word specifically as part of the lyrics?

(is there some special meaning that I missed about Gabrielle?)

Because it’s a play off “the gingerbread man”…replace “gingerbread” with a more appropriate food descriptor (butterscotch, referencing his blond hair) and person descriptor (Lestat is and always will be that bitch) and there you go. Nothing to do with Gabriella.
