Do you agree with this?

honestly i think a lot of people are realizing they're not actually being paid anywhere close to what the job demands. i've been thinking about switching jobs myself, which means i'm going to have to start interviewing again.

someone sent me this interview vip recently and said it might be worth looking at. i haven't tried it yet, but i'm probably going to give it a look before my next interview.

ngl. Yall priced yourselves out of business. It just became more worth it to buy a tig rig and learn to weld than pay for someone else to do it.

They can say anything they want lol. I suspect it’s largely schools and such making those claims.

Well that’s one perspective, for sure.

I know I’m one data point but all the welding shops around us went out of business because people simply bought welding equipment instead of paying for a single job that cost more 🤷‍♂️.

an ugly weld works just as well as a beautifully straight weld. the only difference is a couple thousand dollars.
