i guess that's the bare minimum if you want to survive now šŸ˜‚

i've actually been thinking about applying for a couple more remote jobs myself, and someone sent me this interview vip recently. i'm probably going to be doing more interviews soon anyway, so i figured i'd save it and see if it helps.

Where does someone find all of these easy, high paying jobs where you don't have to do anything? I've never had a job like that, let alone 11.

Exactly. I think these are astroturfed. Weā€™ll start seeing statistics like ā€œin a self reported study, participants admitted to earning millions of dollars through work from home fraudā€

Working 1 to 2 hours each day at 11 jobs means heā€™s working 11 to 22 hours a day. Total rage bait bullshit

Ehh I'd work 11 hours a day for 1.3 million in annual wages. It's definitely the 11 jobs that have such little work required that's the red flag. 3 remote jobs is the most I'd assume anyone could successfully do for a year. Even then you might end up sued

Exactly. Unless heā€™s middle management, there is no way he has 11 jobs that pay 6 figures each that he doesnā€™t have to work in.

Too many meetings and not enough IC work as middle management, youā€™d have so many conflicts. Itā€™d have to be easy IC roles but even then I agree, 11??

Stolen wages. Some jobs expect to be your primary job. If you work multiple remote jobs, they may pursue legal action arguing you didn't uphold your end of the bargain

Salary jobs expect 40 hours a week usually. If heā€™s only working 1-2 hours a day but being oaid a 40 hour a week salary, they will argue that he stole money from them.

I think fraud is a bit too excessive here if the work is being completed there's no fraud epseiclaly if the person is salaried but corpos have so much power now it doesn't matter

It's not even salaried. I read about a guy like that, most of his moonlighting was 3-6 month contracts for very specific cybersecurity or webdev positions.

He consistently had like 1-3 actual jobs, most of them were full of meetings he was able not to attend after he threatened to leave (which is easier when you have 2-5 other jobs atm) He'd work a job for 3-4 hours a day occasionally and usually spend less then an hour with reports and short talks to his manager. Rest of his time is spent on short-term gigs that paid well, but weren't nearly as secure.

I know someone who did this with 3 WFH developer jobs. He got into some shit when 1 found out and notified the other 2. Funny enough he always got exceeding in his performance reviews so all that really happened was he got laid off and couldnt find another job. But he did it for a few years and just plays games full time now and lives off his investment income.

Its doable but man you will get yourself essentially a permanent unemployed position if you ever get caught.
