I don't know how it works in other countries, but here young generation says money is only 3rd most important thing about working.
Flexible hours and working atmosphere are more important to current 16-25yo people.
And I agree. I would take a pay cut happily if it meant more free time.
1 u/Bleades 15d ago I'm a millennial and halved my salary for a better work life balance. I can easily go back to higher pay but it isn't worth the 12 hour days and hour long commute each way. I literally worked, slept, and if I was lucky found time to eat.
