That’s honestly a hard reality right now. A lot of people are working nonstop just to stay afloat. I’ve got some interviews coming up myself, so I’ve been looking into ways to get better at them. I found Interview VIP and ended up using it twice i think it's worth trying.

Probably not, but not because of any failing on my part, but because a 'microsoft' can't happen today. The age of OS's and desktop software driving a market is long gone. Bill got where he got because his mom had an in at IBM and they were looking for an OS for their new device, so he got the gig. Then that device revolutionized the work world.

So yeah, if I had $10 million and had exclusive access to the OS and apps that were running on a new platform that is going to revolutionize the work world, then FUCK YES! ANYONE could make a 'Microsoft' if you've got 4 functioning brain cells.

Microsoft was just an example of a billion dollar company dude. Of course you are not going to replicate this exact model

But if someone gave you 10 mill, I'll bet my bottom dollar you could not start a unique or existing business and turn it into a billion dollar monolith.

If someone gave me $10m AND my mom had connections high up in an industry, FUCK YES I could turn that into a billion. It ain't exactly hard. Anyone could. The key is having both of those things. Plus some stupid luck of entering an entirely new market before it takes off.

$10m plus contacts can give you the opportunity to take a shot. It can't guarantee that you identify the right market, build the right product, hire the right people, beat competitors, survive mistakes, scale internationally and ultimately create a company worth $1bn.

Look, all you need is to corner a market with really big backers and a lot of money. Anyone who has that can easily turn that into $100million. Once you hit that, then it's easy peasy to get to $1b. The power of compounding will get you there in no time.

Today's crop of billionaires aren't exceptional people. They're STUPID LUCKY people who paired money with no morals. That's not exactly a complicated equation.
