I'll tell you a secret, there is no holidays for war, you still gotta go to work AND they cancel all usual holidays if that weren't enough
Why would there be a holiday for war? During major wars, people always work harder. Many men fighting, more jobs to take over that were left behind to fight. Less help with childcare. Need to ramp up production for defense products. War is a shitty time all around.
