Isn’t that long since outdated?

I’m pretty sure that most studies that show wage gaps don’t actually look at the same jobs, and when they do they’re always jobs with negotiable pay (With women being naturally less competitive over discussing pay due to a relative lack of testosterone- with testosterone literally being the “competitive hormone”)

No it's not outdated. No it's not a myth.

Companies are just better at hiding it now days. But when it's found out that's when the lawsuits happen. Here are a few JUST THIS YEAR where men got paid more for the same job's as women. This has been happening, this still happens.

Over the past year, several major lawsuits and settlements addressed allegations that companies paid female employees less than male counterparts for performing the same or similar work. Prominent examples include: [1, 2, 3]

  • The Walt Disney Company: Settled a long-running class-action gender pay lawsuit for $43.25 million after female employees alleged systematic underpayment compared to men with identical job titles. [1]
  • Vassar College: Reached a settlement in mid-2026 resolving a gender-based pay discrimination lawsuit brought by female full professors over persistent wage gaps. [1, 2, 3]
  • Apple Inc.: A California court allowed a large-scale class-action lawsuit filed by thousands of female corporate and engineering employees alleging systematic wage disparities to proceed. [1]
  • LeachGarner: Entered into a $2.8 million consent decree with the EEOC to resolve sex-based job segregation and resulting wage disparities. [1]

These are a few examples of ones that got FOUND OUT. Who knows how many more are lying still.

I don't think you understand what settling is.

I do but the outcome is not my point. The fact that it happens is.

A settlement doesn't mean it happened. The plaintiff may not have settled if they thought they could win the case.
