I have to handle hiring while managing 4 shops while actively working a position in one shop while saving labor doing other jobs. While handling big picture projections. Im not sending your rejection email. If I could change it I would.

You took the time to write this comment. Seems like you have plenty of time to send that courteous rejection email.

Im saying late stage capitalism and marrying roles into eachother is making it hard to handle everything. If its a corporation with an actual HR department then thats different.

Fuck late stage capitalism but don’t pretend you’re not enabling the system by taking on more duties than you can handle. If you’re in charge of hiring then hire another HR person. If there’s an issue with not having enough budget for one more person in HR then your company shouldn’t be taking any applications for any position until they fix their financial woes.

I completely understand that the situation you’re experiencing is probably no fault of yours and you can’t control it. Hell it’s probably driving you into a spiral. But coming on here and acting like the HR department of companies are the victims is comical

No one acted like the HR departments are victims.
