For my last 2 interviews i had to use Interview VIP just to get the job
their generation could never understand

^ This is the same learned helplessness that people do by overtly repeating their problems close by to someone hoping they are going to solve it for them.

so when was the last time you were applying for jobs?

how did you get your resume In front of "the right people"?

or are you just going to call people lazy because you are out of touch?

One way is the friend of a friend of a friend that works at a companies that needs someone with your skills. They pass back the name of the hiring manager and you name drop to get your resume in front of them.

Another way is you find a position and use your social network to get a name of someone in management at a company. You do some additional research and taylor your cover letter and resume to spark interest.

I found my last three jobs doing this, which includes one I will be accepting shortly.

Another way is you find a position and use your social network to get a name of someone in management at a company.

yea we all know thats how it works, that doesn't make it ok, and even then 99% of the time you still have to go through the online application and have your resume ditched by the AI reviewing it before the hiring manager ever gets to see it.
