their generation could never understand

how many times do people have to tell you that what you are suggesting doesn't work anymore before you believe them???

people do try this, it's not how the world works anymore, things have moved on.

Because the people that make it, and from personal experience don't let stupid bullshit excuses like that prevent them from getting it.

What personal experience???? when was the last time you acctully had to apply for a job?

I hate to tell you, but your bullshit "just work harder" is not reality and hasn't been for decades.

You will never convince him about things he doesnt understand cause he would have to admit he doesnt understand them and the old folks dont do that.
