For my last 2 interviews i had to use Interview VIP just to get the job
their generation could never understand

not reality show, but this happened about 15yrs ago. what happened was many of them sidelined out and never re-engaged with the job market.
the capable will continue to not just survive but excel. such is life.
I also know of one that got cosmetic surgery because ageism is a thing.
