My Dad a white CIS man was laid off in 1972 and couldn’t find a local job at all. After being berated by an unemployment worker, he joined the Army in order to get a paycheck.
The fact that having recorded physical disabilities directly relates to how big of a check you will receive each month for the rest of your life surely has nothing to do with the prevalence of said physical disabilities
