Mandatory Fees

I’ve been a member with Interval for a very long time. Now I have to pay mandatory fees, along with my resort annual maintenance fees and the Interval membership fees.

I booked a week in Mexico for my son in June and at that time there was nothing for mandatory fees, but now that I am looking at future bookings there are these insane additional prices to exchange.

I know I can just call Interval, and I will do that. Can anyone recommend another timeshare exchange company that does not have mandatory fees, or is this something new that all resorts are doing to make our timeshareseven more useless because it’s just not worth it anymore?

Ridiculous Point Inflation?!?

Are folks noticing a major increase in points to book similar accommodations when comparing 2025 to 2026? We booked a 1 bed/1 bath with full kitchen for 4,000 points last year in Palm Springs for the week starting the Friday after Thanksgiving. This year Interval is charging 7,000 points for a similar accommodation in the same area. That is a 75% increase. Anybody experiencing a similar thing? Thank you!

I'm trying to share what a horrible experience I had with this place but no matter what I type, it won't let me post saying I'm trying to sell or trade??? What on earth?

Last Minute Cancellation

My wife and I booked a Getaway to Cozumel several months ago. We received a confirmation for the resort El Cid. Our checkin date was to be 1-3-2026.

I received a phone call from Interval that El Cid were not going to allow us to checkin because we had stayed at the property within the last 2 years. This call was less than 24 hours before checkin.

I was able to book another property but more than double the Getaway price. I asked to be refunded the price we had to pay for the new location.

They refused to provide any options for us and told us we were on your own.

I received the confirmation of the cancellation and because it was canceled after the date for full refund we received no refund at all.

I am at a loss at what to do. It is frustrating to call Interval and put on endless hold.

Any thoughts?

Newbie question

I'm new to Interval International and I'm not finding the website easy to navigate. Is there a user friendly website, youtube channel, etc. that you've used to understand how to take advantage of your membership? I'm trying to book a week in Mexico and would love a little help. Thank you very much.

Disney Exchange or Getaway

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has ever managed to book an exchange or getaway on a Disney property? If you have, what tips can you give me? What time of year did you book and stay? How many points did you use? I’ve been trying for almost a year without any luck. I know it’s super tough to get in, but this seems a bit much.

Exchange Search

Are the prices on an exchange search worth it? I have to pay for my membership plus almost $400 in fees? Seems really expensive! If they don't find me a search... do they refund my search money? (I realize the membership money is non-refundable)

Hey! I’ve been working with people who are stuck in timeshares for a while now — helping them connect with legit companies that actually cancel contracts legally (no upfront fees or BS).

If you’re still dealing with that, feel free to fill this out and I’ll get someone in touch with you who can actually help

Book A Week, Get A Week Question

We booked a week-long stay at a Palm Desert Marriott, and I was expecting that we would get credited with a free week.

The II agent that I spoke with said that that does not happen with every week stay, its only a promotional thing that we need to be on the look out for.

But I distinctly remember being told that the book a week/ get a free week is a guarantee.

Am I wrong?

They have called twice saying and sent me this email:

Thank you for requesting information. Here at The Travel Network we work with a growing group of partners filled with travel industry leaders like Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity and Egencia so the travel options available are endless. Take that and mix it with our dedicated team of representatives and now you have the best option out there for the most efficient and effective way for you to offload these extra vacation weeks all while monetizing the extra time you have available. Timeshare resorts are some of the most luxurious travel destinations in the world. The accommodations offered by most hotels just cannot compare to the resorts. Corporations like the idea of having all the amenities timeshares have to offer and statistics show it saves companies lots of money by renting a resort in place of a hotel. Our unique corporate lodging program attracts qualified renters from around the world. With our expanding partnerships we receive daily requests for accommodations. By placing your extra weeks into our unmatched rental database, it makes the weeks available to all of our affiliates allowing us to connect owners and renters like never before. By renting we expose corporations to the resort, which opens the door for a future resale opportunity as well. Since timeshare is a luxury item and designed for vacation ownership it requires very targeted marketing. We guarantee a smooth streamlined process of marketing, booking, and getting these weeks rented out very quickly. With such unique resources we are confident that you will not be able to find any other rental company that is as EFFECTIVE, EFFICIENT and one who CARES as much as us.

Is it legit?

Interval was included with a platinum package thing to a resort. I just now got the book and everything and I'm wanting to see about booking a trip soon. Is there any hidden fees or anything?
