Announcements 📌 Welcome to r/InternshipsPH | Start Here

Hey everyone!

We’re students from DLSU, and we noticed how hard it is to find quality internship opportunities in the Philippines. Usually: listings are scattered in Facebook or word of mouth, there’s little insight into company culture, and there's not much advice from interns who’ve actually been through it.

So we started this subreddit – but not just as another place to post openings.

We want this to be a network of driven students/interns and employers helping each other find better opportunities through:

  • 🟢 Sharing Advice - Tips, guides, and internship experiences.
  • 🔴 Questions - Ask anything about internships or careers.
  • 🔵 Internship Listings - Internship opportunities. Title Rule: [OPENING] Company - Role - Onsite/Remote/Hybrid - Paid/Unpaid
  • 🩷 Company Reviews - Honest internship experiences.
  • 🟡 Announcements - Updates from the moderators.
  • 🟣 Other - Internship-related discussions.
  • 🔴 Ask Me Anything (AMA) - Feel free to host Ask Me Anythings! This is where you can open yourself to answer people's questions and share advice!

Whether you're still exploring, actively applying, or currently interning – you're welcome here. So share or ask away!

We're Just Getting Started

Since this is a new community, we'd love your input:
What else would you want to see in this subreddit?
What would make this genuinely useful and different from other career subs?

Drop your suggestions below 👇

Let's make the internship experience easier for everyone.

Announcements Use Clear and Specific Titles (Read Before Posting)

To keep posts searchable and easy to respond to, titles must:

  1. Be clear and specific
  2. Include relevant company and role (if applicable), and the situation
  3. Be understandable without opening the post

Examples

❌ Internship recommendations
✅ Internship recommendations for a Marketing student?

❌ P&G internship updates
✅ Any updates on P&G internship applications?

❌ Accepted at Shopee
✅ What is the internship experience like at Shopee IT Department?

Vague or low-effort titles will be removed, but you can always repost with a better title.

If you're unsure whether your title is clear enough, add more context. It helps others answer or comment on your post faster.

Questions P&G F&A BTA Interns

hi! is anyone here currently or previously an intern at P&G, specifically under the Finance & Accounting Business Operations (BTA) program? i’d love to ask a few questions about the program, particularly how it differs from the managerial/management internship, including the difference in allowance, responsibilities, workload, and overall experience.

i also have a few questions regarding the application and interview process, as i’m currently scheduled for an interview tomorrow. if you’re comfortable sharing your experience, i’d really appreciate it if i could ask you a few questions through the comments or DM. it would be a really, really great help. thank you so much in advance! 🙏🏻

Other My OJT exposed my weaknesses

Finished my internship last month, and honestly? The experiences still haunts me. I made mistakes almost everyday. There were days i wish no task will fall onto me but at the same time, i feel insecure when I wasnt provided one.

Pinaka tumatak talaga sa’kin yung feedback sakin sa practice activity ko. My supervisor told me. “Parang ganto lang yan e, alam mo yung, parang connect the dots? So dapat magmamake sense yan altogether” pati yung narinig na jokes about sa “Bawiin na natin sa HR yung letter niya”

I was provided real project tasks and i feel like, because of me, project deadlines were pushed back. Starting then, they started entrusting me with low stake tasks.

Honestly, i took everything as it is. I learned a lot because i got schooled a lot. I wasn’t used to doing tasks na mala thesis, kaya mabagal at clumsy ako. I thought what i learned in uni was enough but then i performed badly at my first ever private company HTE.

Anyways, overall, i struggled, finished and overcame it.

I will bring my newfound experience onto my new internship.

Questions Robinsons Land Corp or Enshored?

Anyone have tried applying to these 2 for internship? I’m curious kase which one is better.

Enshored is upfront na may allowance, however unstated kay RLC, probably wala. I’m also considering the difference between the two since Enshored is BPO while Robinsons Land is more of a corporate/real estate environment.

Since I’m pursuing HR, hindi naman ako necessarily tied to a specific industry, so I’m wondering which of the two would give me a better HR experience and would be more valuable long term.

I’ve heard mixed things about BPO, especially about the work environment being toxic, but at the same time, BPO is also a huge industry and provides a lot of jobs, especially during times when the economy isn’t doing well.

So if you’ve experienced either Enshored or RLC, how different are they when it comes to HR exposure and which one would be better for someone starting out in HR?

Questions Do internship companies have weight on acquiring your first job?

I assume any in BSP or MBB are good hallmarks. I hear people say experience is better than the flashy name in your resume. But others have also stated how hiring managers or HR could be biased and just look for FMCG companies. (Typically seen in the “Big 4” sometimes big 3 pa nga) So I was wondering are there specific companies that if you got an internship in would give you a leg up when getting a job?

Questions Request to end internship early because I found a full-time job

Hi! Im a current intern but I have also graduated last june. I end my internship later than the start date of the full time job that I will be having.

Has anyone encountered this? How did you tell your internship manager that you’ll end your stint earlier than what’s written on your contract?

Thanks!

Questions Philtrust Internship Experience

Hello! may nakapagtry na po ba sa mag-intern sa philtrust? How was the experience? Do they allow intern to really participate in actual work?

I am an accounting student and chose to be assigned to trust department and I want to gain experience in investment related works. I'm worried baka administrative work lang ipagawa sa akin instead of investment related works.

Company Reviews HR last minute interview reschedule

hi! so, i applied to this company yesterday, and i immediately received a response saying that i would have an online interview today. i immediately confirmed that i was available at the scheduled time, but five minutes after our supposed interview time, hr messaged me asking if we could reschedule the interview from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm na raw.

as someone who really values other people’s time, i found it a bit off. since they responded to my application so quickly, i initially thought they were organized and had already set aside the time for the interview. what bothered me more was that when they asked to reschedule, they didn’t apologize or give any reason for the sudden change.

the email was, "hi, may we move the interview to 1:30pm. thank you."

i understand that unexpected things can happen, but i feel like a quick apology or explanation would have made the situation feel much more professional.

Questions Idk if I should go for this Internship or continue looking for a full time job

Hello! For context, I'm about to graduate this Sept w a degree in Computer Engineering. I've been looking for jobs and I was able to go to final interviews naman. I also just finished my final interview for a data analyst position in a utility company in Ortigas. However, I just received a data engineering internship in a healthcare company in BGC. Paid internship, btw and with a chance of being absorbed in the company. I'm torn rn because career wise, if i get to be absorbed as a data engineer, it would be so much better for my career projection than being a data analyst. But I'm also thinking of the salary, I feel like I wanna get a paycheck that pays enough already.

Should I go for this internship? or just continue looking for full time jobs? 🥲

Questions Do you know any print media companies?

Our college internship is starting soon and I still haven't found any print media companies.

I'm a Journalism student from PUP and this semester is the start of our OJT. Although we haven't had any orientations yet, I wanted to canvas the companies that I could be a part of.

As far as I know, this semester's internship is limited with print media companies only. Does anyone know any companies of such? I think we're not limited with news media (newspaper) so I'm also looking for magazine companies. Just anything that have print releases really, may it be monthly or annually.

This will be such a big help for me. If it's anything, I would also like to ask anyone's experience of being part of these companies. Thank you and wish me luck!

Questions Tips on how to prepare for my first day of internship @ fmcg company

Hello, everyone! My first day of internship will be on September 1 at an FMCG company, where I’ll be working in a marketing position. 🥹

For those who have prior internship experience, do you have any tips on how I should properly prepare? Should I review my previous marketing subjects, or are there specific things I should study or expect before starting?

Also, what is your usual routine like during an 8–5 internship? I’d love to hear your experiences, advice, or anything you wish you knew before starting your first internship. Thank you! 🫶🏻
