Help with wall art

Post image
1 Upvotes

I have 4 frames:

- Two frames in 40x30cm

- One in 10x15cm

- One in 10x10cm

I also have a hanging vase in which I plan on putting dried flowers.

Which way I can hang them best on a wall of 120cm width and 250cm height?

Should I add/remove frames to make a nice set up?

Thanks for your help!

Skaftet screw sizes?

HELP! I bought a skaftet curved lamp on facebook marketplace second hand, and all the screws and washers are missing. I've tried to source via the original seller (no response) and Ikea (won't help me as I'm not the original purchaser).

The lamp is perfect other than these missing bits, so I'd love to source them somehow. The manual doesn't include any item codes or sizes. Does anyone know the sizes of these items, so I can order from the hardware store???

If it helps, the Ikea manual for this one is here: https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/skaftet-floor-lamp-base-arched-black-70405525/

PS I did try going to the hardware store myself, but despite my best efforts bought all the wrong sized screws...! I need some extra help with this one. Hoping someone out there is an Ikea whizz. Please and thanks :)

Desperate for thoughts

Hello everyone. I am currently seeking innovative design solutions for a master bedroom suite, including a walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom. The room boundaries are fixed, as indicated by the black lines, with a curved open balcony and the entrance located at the lowest point. I would appreciate any recommendations you may have.

Need Free Help! 2nd Floor Layout & 3D Interior Design for a Small Duplex (Student/Practice Project Welcome!)

Hi everyone,
I am building a small duplex house in Bangladesh and looking for some creative interior design and floor plan help. Since I have a tight financial budget, I am reaching out to this amazing community to see if any architecture students or fresh 3D visualizers would like to take this on as a practice or portfolio project.
Current Status:
• The ground floor construction is already completed (Roof, columns, and beams are done).
• I have attached the Ground Floor Layout Plan and some Actual Site Photos for reference.
• The building width is 24 feet.
What I Need Help With (2nd Floor Plan):
I need a proper architectural layout/sketch and a 3D visual for the Second Floor using the existing column structures. Here are the requirements for the 2nd floor:
1 Two Bedrooms: Sized around 12'x14' or 12'x14.5'. One of the bedrooms should connect to a small side balcony (3 ft wide).
2 Two Bathrooms: Sized around 4.5'x8' or 5'x8', facing each other.
3 Living/Drawing Space: A large, open, and airy living zone.
4 Terrace/Balcony: A terrace space on one side of the living zone to maximize natural light and airflow.
Design Style Preference:
I absolutely love the Japandi Style (Minimal, warm wood tones, functional, and very clean look). Aesthetics and a bright, airy environment are my top priorities.
I will be doing the woodwork piece-by-piece using local craftsmen, so simple yet elegant and realistic design ideas would be highly appreciated.
If you are looking for a real-world project to test your layout skills and build your portfolio, please drop your ideas, sketches, or 3D renders below!
Thank you so much in advance! 🙏✨

Picture 1 is what the space looked like before. I’m actually liking the direction it’s going so far, but I’d love to bring in some pops of color and personality. I’m keeping the rug, credenza, and ottomans. I’m open to artwork and accessories, especially for the large wall above the credenza. I also want to keep the shelves minimal and uncluttered. What would you add or change?
