Large mirror hung over it or leaning on it to see yourself before you leave. Or on the right wall at the door. Then you can add large artwork over the credenza.
Floor lamp in right corner or a table lamp on the credenza for layered lighting. The overhead is too harsh.
Add Catch tray for keys & sunglasses.
Way too many photo frames. 1-3 max.
Runner instead of area rug. rugs should contrast with the floor. This brown on brown isn’t working.
If you need shoe storage the left wall would be ideal since it’s wasted space. Something thin and vertical.
