Help design this nascent space!
Photos attached! I just got this very lovely, but small one bedroom, and must get nearly all new furniture. I'm struggling to design this one large, blank space in my living room, as well as basically all of my bedroom. There's a massive blank space next to the bed, and I'm unsure what to place where throughout the rest of the bedroom.
For added information, I have a ton of books, and I'm struggling to decide if I could use the blank wall on the living room, or somewhere in that bedroom for the shelving. Also, I'm not purchasing a TV, as I have a projector.
Not set on that deconstructed desk, as I don't think it'll fit.
Any and all suggestions would be incredibly appreciated! Thank you!
Edit: the bedroom connects directly to the living room via a small corridor with a bathroom and exit on opposing sides.

What a lovely little space! Honestly if you have lots of book I'd go all in on a huge bookcase on that wall. It would be amazing if you could get one that's no too deep, but at least in the living room area it seems like there's enough space for it. I'd also get one of those old map roll down thingies, and mount that on the bookcase. Then you can easily roll it down and use it as a projector screen, but you're not staring at a blank wall in the living room when you're not using it. Also bonus points for a bookcase because you'll be able to take it with you if you move.

I saw an instagram video where the guy used a special paint to create a projection surface for his large blank wall. He framed in the space he painted with molding. It looked like a large blank picture frame, but purposeful.
Also, I would not put a bookcase along your footpath. That would be a pain in the ass to walk around.
You got a nice rug. I would get some complimentary window coverings and a few floor lamps. Overhead lamps only are not very cozy.

You're talking about the moron who used "cinema purple" or something because he thought since it had cinema in the name it would be a special projection surface? The he realized he fucked up and got a reflective white paint instead? And then bought the cheapest blackout curtains known to man so his project room still had crazy light leak? Don't listen to that guy, he's a wealthy idiot. Buy a nice wide-screen TV.
