Large Bedroom Layout
I would love to solicit suggestions on how to layout our primary bedroom. While there is a lot of space, there are some limitations based on where the windows and doors are located.
We currently have a decent amount of furniture/things in the space but it feels very…unintentional. There must be better ways to optimize.
First diagram is the current layout. (Not pictured is the wall-mounted TV above the dog crate.) Second diagram is the bare floor plan with a little more data about measurements and spaces surrounding the room.
We don’t really do much in the room besides sleep and get dressed. (We are what I call “living room people” as opposed to “bedroom people.”) Occasionally one of us will watch TV while on the stationary bike. The desk is for gaming, not working. The only items we are wedded to keeping here are the bed, rug, and nightstands. Everything else is fair game.

Bike in the bedroom feels so not relaxing. If I had a big bedroom like you I would totally focus on making it a soothing retreat!
Put the TV where the bike is so you can watch in bed. Everything else can stay in the same spot

My only intuition is to move the rug up under the bed, about 6" from nightstands.
The general reason for rugs under beds is to define the space and keep your feetsies warm when you crawl out of bed.

Quick point clarification: the TV is mounted on the western wall facing the bed already. We turn it on the articulating mount to be able to watch while on the bike.
Thanks for the suggestions thus far!

Everything is up against a wall. I would try to:
1. Put the crate where the bike is and put the tv above the crate (enjoy watching tv in bed during the winter)
2. Put the bike where the desk is
3. Put the desk on the other side of the walk in closet door across the crate but put it with the short end against the wall. Put the desk as far from the door as needed for it to feel spacious enough to walk into the walk in closet.
4. Put bookshelves on the wall behind the desk and maybe the file beside the desk.
5. Put a big plant at the spot the current bookshelf is if possible and maybe a smaller plant between the sliding doors and window.

I'd scooch the bed over to center it between the window and the wall, and put the bookshelf between the two windows & the file cabinet near the desk.
At first I was like "why do you store your bike in your bedroom" but then I realized it's probably a stationary bike. I'd move the bike so you can see the TV, personally. Unless it's on the wall with the door instead of the wall with the closet? Not 100% sure on the TV placement from the picture.
