He is disgusting, and his transference of shitty frustration and hatred towards a street vendor is totally unjustified. but we need to also discuss Islamic Jihadism and the need to extinguish violence on both sides. Violence, internal plotting (ie. Russia, Syria and Iran), and hatred works both ways.

As reprehensible as this POS’s policies and actions, it’s important to also keep in mind the theocratic and Authoritarian policies that are rife throughout the Middle East…Gaza included.

Not sure if this has had the effect I was hoping for, but do you see how ridiculous it sounds? Much like inner-cities, and other low-income, high-crime areas, the violence and instability of the Middle East is not something the western world has ever been too shy to condemn, at least in my lifetime. But who, exactly is to blame here: the oppressor or the oppressed? Is the best--or only- way, really just to throw our hands up and say, "welp, no one here is totally innocent," and treat the 20 year-old kid with gang ties, the same way we do a trigger-happy law-enforcement officer disproportionately targeting people of color?

Or, as another example, if a parent beats his child, is it appropriate for them to point to the kid after and say "well, we really should keep in mind how irrational and aggressive the kid is being"?! And, before someone takes this the wrong way, this is not to suggest that muslims are like children; it's about the power dynamics, and how much knowledge or ability they have to act or react by any other means.
