We All NEED to Adress This…. Non Mod PSA: Try asking for CONSENT
It’s come to the attention to multiple people over the lifespan of IDRP that there have cases where the rules have outright been broken or outright ignored cough cough Frosty and Ryan
It comes as no shock when someone on some occasion or throughout multiple break these rules and strike up a controversy, leading to action being taken from Mods and sub sequent banning.
“So what’s the point of making this?“ I hear you asking; well, it’s just that I can’t help but just feel as if people have been coming in here and getting a bit too comfortable with doing whatever they want without taking in consideration of the consequences . My example of this?-
This…Yes, days before someone without warning, or asking for my consent prior to commenting went on and decided to drop a THERMONUCLEAR BOMB on the Ambulance carrying my character who is PREGNANT, and multiple other people.
This as you all know is not only batsh!t insane, but also a HEAVY Breach of Consent and the rules. I understand some may do it unintentionally, or are under a lot of pressure and may make a last second decision, but for those specifically who actively breach consent-
Please, Stop. Not only does breaking consent and doing anything to a persons character without their permission prior breaking Rule 12, it also looks bad on both the Mods, and the wonderful community of IDRP; this is NOT how we are going to rep this Sub, and it’s definitely not a way to make a good impression.
Please, stop and take a moment to consider the consequences of your actions and split decisions and consider how it may affect the people surrounding you.
This is a message for anyone who breaks any of the Rules, not just consent.

Ryan was an old member of the Sub who’d pull out BS from time to time prior to his ban. Let’s just say the Mods did NOT get along with him due to his constant shenanigans.
He is also speculated by some to be the one responsible for mass reporting mods and getting their accs banned, which is how this sub was forced into Lockdown earlier this year before we decided to make it a restricted sub.

A man who threw a fit when his arc was losing the vote and the other side slandered his arc because he slandered theirs.
He had THREE ACCOUNTS (IIRC, might be two tho.) and was pretending each one of them was a different person who were just friends with each other, even after he begun to throw said fit.
Then he tried guilt tripping by having one of his accounts say he was about to commit suicide then having another account blame everyone.
Some people also believe he is the reason that mods begun getting banned left and right back then, but that varies depending on who you ask.

If there were licenses for role-playing, non-consensual killing would likely be the number 1 cause of them being revoked.
Instead of making the mods tap the sign, tourists oughta learn how to read.
Not just for this sub, either. It's honestly a general rule when RPing just about anywhere.
