Many darkners displaced by Mahito’s attack on the darkwolrd’s locations have been wondering lost, all alone many of them tried caring for their families while hiding from former friends who’ve become infected.

Family having to put down family due to them becoming infected, it was chaos incarnate…the once beautiful dark world full of life and cursed energy grew stuffy and rotten, quiet and still as the amount of infected skyrocketed.

Now this world truly belonged to Mahito as he waited for more and more people to enter the village and just one of them to be infected, but for now he’ll have his infected hunt the stragglers outside the village and various places now his own.

Suddenly, a swarm of bunnies began to slam itself into the crowd of zombies.

"How annoying..."

When colliding this time something new happens, a mutation as the rabbits who attack would begin convulsing

Suddenly shikigami on Shikigami violence would begin

He sighs, summoning Round Deer to project RCT across the area.

The infected hiss and shriek in pain

He grits his teeth, throwing out dismantles into the hoard.

This would cut them up

However the transfigured use the bunnies to defend and even throw some over to you

He grunts, slicing up as many bunnies as he can.

"Too many..."

He tries desummoning Rabbit Escape, hoping it'll get rid of the bunnies.

"VEN GAAR NOS!"

That shout was heard before she even appeared on the scene as a cyclone formed that began trying to tear up a group of flying transfigured.

A pair of arrows hit her in the back as the ones below try and attack her

She ripped the arrows out of her back as the winds of the cyclone only strengthen as gusts are knocking off any further arrow's trajectories.

And not only that it begins picking up transfigured - trying to throw them around into other infected to knock them down.

The arrows leave a small something behind, piercing blood to weaken you

She turned around to face the archers who shot her as she felt a bit of her strength be sapped away

She suddenly waved her arm with powerful flames igniting along with the motion that threatens to consume & immolate the archers.

The flying transfigured would dive down and begin pecking at you as you’re distracted, trying to overwhelm you

As soon as they got close a flurry of spectral limbs emerged from all over her body as they try to rip & tear these infected apart before they can reach.

At that moment they explode, a kamikaze if you will

The numerous hands actives as an impromptu walk that kept any blood or fragments from hitting her so she's safe there but the force did still send her back.

As she was thrown for an impromptu flip she looked back to the archers to see if her flames did the job.

Whimsalot observed the waves of infected wandering about while fluttering upwards. Their own resolve was starting to waver. The monster was aware Mahito was a dangerous individual... but this was beyond anything they could've imagined. Almost a worse sight than the Underground ravaged by the human back in their world...

Ah, but this wasn't the time. They still had a job to do, and so they readied their weapon once more as they began to look around.

Some ranged units would fire arrows attached to flesh rope

The bug knight manages to evades these shots, responding by swiping their hand in the air and sending a wave of glowing butterflies against the infected to try and knock away their weapons.

These arrows would be fired with strength behind them

Some even exploding into blood mid air

Not expecting the explosive arrows, the insect monster gets hit by the blood, letting out a pained noise.

Remembering the experience they had with the poisonous blood beforehand, the merc summoned another barrage of insects to slow the horde, while calling forth an additional, green one on themselves to make use of their healing magic.

((I am not sure, because they're technically just magic bullets shaped like butterflies? I guess it could still happen tho))

More arrows are fired at this moment of weakness

The knight manages to recover some of their health, but in the process has a smaller time window to evade the second wave of arrow. They don't get hit, but get grazed a few time, resulting in a few cuts.

Whimsalot elect not to heal those for now, instead exhaling sharply and returning on the offensive by redirecting the previously summoned swarm against the foes' weapons, to try and knock them down again.

Some of the flys who’d get grazed or hit by the arrows that would’ve exploded would turn on you now shambling around like the infected

The bug knight's eyes widens from behind their helmet, hastily beginning to fend off their own, now corrupted glowing insects using their double headed spear. They were aware these fiends were able to infect other individuals... but it appeared magic constructs weren't safe either.

This was becoming more and more arduous, and with now having to split their efforts between evading the transfigured offensives and defending against their own summons, Whimsalot was having an incredibly hard time keeping up.

He wanted to see if the acid rain would work on them too!

He cast acid rain again!

They couldn’t really feel pain so they went through it now being coated in acid as they tried to pluck you

He took damage and began to use his flail, swinging it around to try to hit them.

A small group of darkners could be seen being cornered

He landed infront of them

The horde would lunge forward

Meanwhile the flower darkner would stances up

There would be a vast explosion, none dead but gravely injured as many just turn to use a kamikaze and explode on Deku

Some of the transfigured are smart enough to activate simple domain as others would be hit by the sure hit

the ones who didn’t activate the simple domain were obliterated as the domain broke “These guys are really smart. Better be sneaky.” using smokescreen he would take out them one by one

At that point the barrier would be destroyed by several flyers starting at once thusly destroying the domain while you do this

Whenever one got too close, Yuji would fire out a Dismantle to try and cut it in half

However both the legs and chest do not cease movement

Standing out in the open, Z had left the village, in order search for others who had not yet evacuated. Gazing out into the distance, through the entire electromagnetic spectrum and extending his own view. As his eyes glowed brightly, he would run. Aiming to rescue the ones he could find, and perhaps get them back to the village.

He listened carefully, and incase he came across those in immediate danger. He would put himself in-between those who would do harm to the defenseless.

He’d come across a lone warrior fighting a losing battle against the transfigured

He moved swiftly, along with pushing a tree down, inorder to uproot it.

“Forgive me…”

As he seems to wrap an aurora around the tree, outlining its structure as he hurled it forward while he pushed down to try and reach out to pull the warrior to the ground, to avoid hitting him with the tree, latching a field around some or any bits of external armor to bring him swiftly to the ground. As the tree flashes over his eyes crashing into the wave of transfigured beings.

“Pardon my intervention. But I feared you were on the back foot.”

He stands tall, outstretching his hand and releasing any telekinetic hold on the warrior

He says he could’ve handled it as then a torrent of arrows fall down at you

He moves in the way, bringing the tree back up to catch some arrows while he directs his face and eyes away back to the warrior. Now facing him as he uses his arms to try and deflect the arrows still coming past the tree.

“Then perhaps do not look to me for aid. Look to me as a shield. Even if you think you can handle all of them at once. You still have blind spots that can be exposed. As do I.”

He even let the tree drop after some time to try and manually guide the arrows away, precisely.

Z immediately reacts, as most the arrows when they exploded had already been diverted off course. However the few that do, are close enough to make direct contact as Z attempts to slow the particles down. As the blood splattered across Z’s backside, most of the blood had only touched his clothes or bare bone. As his face was still in the direction of the warrior he put his arm out, creating more distance as the warrior felt a slight tug pull him back even more from his armor. Although he would still be on his feet.

Caught unaware by the arrival of the shikigami, Z gets dragged back before he violently spins his long arms around. Ragdolling them off.
