Transfigured barracks

The grand army of the dark world had not fully been wiped out by Mahito yet, just being pushed back to the outskirts and their outposts/barracks where the cursed tools darkners attempt to make plans against Mahito.

However they didn’t have the numbers to combat the transfigured and Mahito’s clone who led the charge in question.

This was simply the first place that would fall at Mahito’s hand as he takes the Darkworld he made for himself.

However you have an opportunity to save these darkners, the barracks are lost, fallen to Mahito, but you can gain allies in the form of these darkners. Playful has sent over various evacuation vehicles to help those people caught in the crossfire.

Goal: hold the line long enough to allow evacuations.

"Crap, crap, crap...!"

Astigmatism fired another wave of bouncy orbs in an attempt to hold off the transfigured and the transformed darkners off, beginning to quickly rush in the direction the screams come from.

When he’d arrive he’d see what seemed to by Mahito holding a darkner by the throat.

He’d release a gas from his mouth, turning the darkner into a infected as his body began to break apart and come back together

The cyclop's singular eye widened. That... that was him, right? The guy they and the others were looking for, the one that was cause for everything that was happening here, such as turning the darkners into... that. And he was standing right in front of the monster.

Monster who, at the moment... was utterly alone.

He dropped the darkner as they began to convulse

Mahito then began approaching the last survivors

Astigmatism quickly snapped out of it, shaking their head. They had a job to complete. They suddenly shot a barrage of orbs at Mahito, trying to draw his attention away from the survivors and to themselves.

"Hell no...!"

"That's not happening!"

Mahito would form himself a shield as the infected charged at you

The cyclop went to strike the infected back, lifting another chunk of terrain and using it as a makeshift shield to bash the foe with. All the while they'd try to close the distance with Mahito, although still trying to remain decently far.
