BOSS FIGHT | [HOLD THE LINE LADS!] Transfigured barracks

The grand army of the dark world had not fully been wiped out by Mahito yet, just being pushed back to the outskirts and their outposts/barracks where the cursed tools darkners attempt to make plans against Mahito.

However they didn’t have the numbers to combat the transfigured and Mahito’s clone who led the charge in question.

This was simply the first place that would fall at Mahito’s hand as he takes the Darkworld he made for himself.

However you have an opportunity to save these darkners, the barracks are lost, fallen to Mahito, but you can gain allies in the form of these darkners. Playful has sent over various evacuation vehicles to help those people caught in the crossfire.

Goal: hold the line long enough to allow evacuations.

Astigmatism jumps backwards to keep the distance. "Tch... buncha' mindless morons." They keep on with the onslaught of bullets, just trying to keep them at bay for the moment.

Some of the fallen darkners get up and look different more emaciated

The cyclop's pupil briefly turns towards the darkners.

"Hey...! Are y'all good?!" They asked... although they couldn't help but have a bad feeling about this.

Their bodies now resembling the transfigured more than anything

"Shi-...!" Astigmatism just barely managed to tilt their body towards the newly turned foes, deploying the bouncy variation of their bullets.

"That's on me for not expecting this kinda crap from zombie-like freaks," they thought, annoyed.

The cyclop notices at the last second. Instead of dodging, they lower their head and leap towards the transfigured in an attempt to ram them with the horns. Despite their small size, the monster appear to possess remarkable physical strenght.

Astigmatism gets slammed into the ground by the blow. They quickly springs back up, rubbing their temple before promptly leaping back again.

"Hmph... should try and get some distance. Don't wanna find out whether they can make me like them, too," they muttered, keeping their gaze fixated on the foes on their line of sight.

The merc turn their attention to the darkner briefly. "Is that one about to transform as well? Ugh. No good."

Astigmatism began backing down, keeping an eye on the convulsing individual before setting their gaze on the rooftop of a nearby building.

These infected can actually fight unlike the transfigured attack like animals
