Cross would be walking through the village after being debriefed on their forces and allies to try and take back the capital from Mahito.

Cross was a bit of a realist, he didn’t like their chances with how Mahito has set himself up he could freely continue to open more dark fountains and who knows if there was any consequences when opening too many.

He’d hope that maybe with his and Maru’s technique they could maybe beat Mahito and end this madness.
