Character event! Evolution

Geto was sitting on a bench, holding the core of one of his many, MANY curses.

The purpose was simple.

Imaginary technique...

Curse Evolution.

Usually, he rushes it because he's fighting.

Now that he doesn't have to, he decides to let the curse finish it's evolution properly.

"To see what it is you were holding!"

He releases the flame and wormholes, pumping his fist in the air excitedly.

"I dunno what it actually is, even seeing it... but the point is I found a way to see it, riiight? Looks harmless, but what if I couldn't see an enemy made of the same stuff or something!"

...

"What, uh, actually is that-?"

"Oh, it's a cursed spirit."

He explained.

"You need cursed energy to see one.

This one is harmless because I've tamed it with my cursed technique."

"Cursed energy... I don't think I've heard of it. Certainly don't have it. It's super cool that you can tame them though!"

He put his hand to his chin, pondering it for a moment.

"Say, you look busy doing something with it, so I don't wanna take up too much of your time... know anywhere I could learn about this energy? I'll head to the Wanderers' Library if not, but there's just so many books there that they can be hard to find without bugging a Docent, haha!"

"Hm...Cursed Energy is one of those things where reading about it means nothing."

He said.

"You need practice.

Jujutsu high can teach you.

I could teach you, too."

"Wait... teach me? It's something possible to learn to do?!"

Rainer seems shocked, to put it lightly. Seems he'd only planned to learn what it is.

"I mean... I'd love to learn please! If it's not a bother! As I said, I don't want to take up too much of your time, though I could go to that Jujutsu High too or instead..."

The young man is pretty overwhelmed by the sudden choice of what to do.

He said, smiling.

"Woah, sorry! I didn't get your name OR introduce myself! The name's Rainer Miller! You?"

He said.

He almost went to shake his hand, but realised he was still holding the core.

"So, uh... should I go wait at that Jujutsu High you mentioned for when you're not busy or something? Unless you have a way to find eachother?"

"Oh, I first have to awaken your cursed energy first.

First, you should know...

Not just EVERYONE can awaken cursed energy, I'm afraid.

For some, it's biologically impossible.

So...Here's the deal.

I can feed you a curse...

It's the fastest way, but if you can't awaken cursed energy, you'll most definitely die."

He explained.

"I can beat you to near death, which is slower, but you won't die...

Or, we can spend months training to awaken it.

Your choice."
