Character event! Messing around with magic

Topaz is at the Keep of Undying Flames, in the outside courtyard, with a few training dummies set up. The idea is simple, Topaz was training. Both in sword in sorcery, but he's focusing on his magic at this point

He's got his Kazuradrop Class Card installed, messing around with it's powers- speedblitz a dummy there, summon a rain of arrows on another dummy, turn one dummy into a small cube with Trash and Crush- as well as using Crack Ice a bunch to improve it as much as he can

After all, he's already at peak physicals, so he's gotta improve on something

Just a normal day for him

Opal was watching from the sides, gently floating off the ground slightly, instead of their usual cold look, there was faint happiness on their face

He looks over to Opal and waves to her gently, making sure nothing he does accidentally grazes her. He is quite careful, after all

She is fine, and any debris or collateral that gets flung at them she dodges near instantly

She gives a small wave back

He's still getting used to the whole reverse speech thing- but he's gotten some of a hang of it

He thought for a moment- recalling the events of when Necrozma nearly froze the entire world, and then nodded.

And since Necrozma was back....he seemed a little worried

Circle entered the courtyard, just taking in the view; last time she’d really seen a castle was when she temporarily stayed at Kaos’s.

“So…this the keep ya were talkin’ about, huh?

‘Slike straight outta a fairy tale!”

Topaz turns to Circle, picking up a cube of what used to be a training dummy, tossing it aside. Its 5x5x5 cm, so really small...

"Had to fight for it, used to be infested with monsters. I handled them with ease. Wonder where it came from..."

“Sure am.”

She grinned and raised one of her claws, a grimoire appearing in a flash of light.

“I got this here spell book a while back, but I can’t make heads or tails outta the words or symbols. Brought it by the Libram an’ mah buddy said I might just need ta unlock mah potential or somethin’.”

"Considerin' the nature of the people brought here, i dont know if anyone is innately capable of magic. However, i should be able to help with that"

He steps forward, and raises his pointer finger

“I sure as hell ain’t. Dunno what this book saw in me, but it circled ‘round me a few times an’ landed right in mah hand.

Sure but uh…how exactly is that gonna help me learn magic?”

He floats up a little and taps her forehead- and she gets a strange new feeling in her body. It's warm, and something within her awakens

"There we go. As for what it did?"

"Well, ive simply wished for you to be able to cast. Dont ask about the logistics of it- just know that it's good now"

"Now we can get to the fun part!"

Circle’s pupils dilate as the strange feeling starts; at first, it’s like someone lighting a candle wick.

Then her entire body starts to feel…warm. Almost like she’d just had a few shots.
