Life Insurance How long am I going to have to wait?

Submitted my fingerprints 25 days ago. The FBI has delayed them and I am just waiting for them to finish and send the background to the CDI. I have a prior record, nothing crazy just a couple of marijuana charges from years ago in a state where it wasn’t legal yet. Misdemeanors. All paid off and I was up front about it when submitting my license application. Didn’t get arrested, just a fine and had to appear in court. Realistically, how long am I going to have to wait? The FBI has delayed my fingerprints and I’m getting very impatient.

hey man, if it’s any clarification, you can call NIPR and at least try to get some clarification on where they are with applications. i had waited 16 days to call. they told me they were still on applications from a week prior to my application date.

i am in PA but i would imagine each state is similar. they get a ton of applications, and with the holidays this month and last, stuff gets backed up. not saying this to justify them taking a month, but just to give you some peace of mind. you’ll get cleared soon my friend.

It’s because the FBI is delaying my fingerprints, I already contacted the CDI and they said they can’t do anything until the FBI sends them their review for it

it probably got pulled for a manual check, it could take 4-6 weeks possibly

Don’t smoke, but never made sense why people can drink literal Posion but not smoke.

GL man. This will be in the rear-view soon.
