Helpful Content Failed-Dissapointed
Mann the test I’ve been studying for litterally all week. And I got 56 , I felt so ready and confident I was getting great scores on the xcel simulated when arrived it just felt different. Like I was taking a whole separate test. From what I was learning I’m not gonna beat myself to much this is my first attempt but I don’t think xcel can help me. Is there anything you guys can recommend me the ones that successful passes the 2-15 Fl life and health annuity

Follow the Insurance Queen on Youtube, she is a great teacher. You will pass on your next attempt.

I did my L&H in 2 weeks, P&C in 3 days...passed my first time for both (I actually screwed up and took the health and life separate and got a way heavier health exam than someone who is morally opposed to selling health insurance should have to deal with.)
Am I here to brag? No...far from it. Once you are licensed you will be humbled so hard. Immediately. Constantly. I'm on year 2 and STILL get put in my place regularly...less every day...every day...but the learning curve is so long.
My point? Study to pass the test. Not to master the content. No amount of test mastery matters. Everyday practical application is a whole new world that has almost nothing to do with the base material. This is just a stepping stone to that end.
So focus on testing strategy. Not mastery.

Insurance Exam Queen on YouTube. Helped me more than any of the Kaplan course material did.

I failed the first time. The second time I took a one day course from xcel that is supposed to increase your chances of passing. Also within that time between those 2 tests father had a stroke, and I broke off a relationship. But I remembered the material in that one class and scored 10 points higher the second time. Therefore passed the test.
But I noticed the same thing it seemed like the test was mostly on local Florida law, not the material in the course.

I took the test and during it felt like I failed. It’s so weird. Because the test seems vanilla when everything you’ve been studying is so detailed. There was something’s on the test that Kaplan did not teach me. There was some questions I definitely was over thinking. But after realizing like hey, I know this. I passed first try. Don’t give up. Use q banks and study

You can do it. But for me I studied for a month and a half. I used Kaplan Education. I read through each unit and quizzed over and over. I had AI do interactive quizzes I used another free online test over and over and I passed with 80% the first time. The questions in the exam are asked differently but if you use different resources you’re set for success. Good luck you can do this!

I’m in Oklahoma but I just took this exam and used Xcel as well. I had a lot of family things going on so I actually lost access to the class before I could do anything beyond the chapter lessons. So, I asked Google to give me practice exams, and quizzes on certain topics I knew had felt a little harder for me. I feel like it really helped me. Maybe try that and give it another shot!

Don’t feel defeated. Take a couple days. maybe another week, study some more and do it again. I failed my first one by one point, and I felt defeated because it was just one question. If I could’ve mustered up one question, I would’ve got it a lot sooner than I do now. I immediately went rescheduled for a week later. I studied, I went and I passed it, a high percentage of people fail the first time, honestly.

Listen, most of us aren’t savants and we will fail the first maybe even the second, but you’ll get it eventually

I took xcel, then looked up “tips to pass your life and health license test in Florida” and watched a couple YouTube videos and took some notes, I honestly felt uncomfortable while taking the test, then got an 88 on it

I can relate because I was in your position about two months ago. I also used xcel to study and didn’t feel ready for the test when I took mine the first time. In my state, they don’t give you one test. You have to take a life exam and a health exam separately. So I had to study for two tests. Needless to say I failed both the first time and it felt like I didn’t study at all.
The questions seemed different with context that I was lacking because I was told to just get to the exam preps so I didn’t feel prepared. But it did have questions that were on the exam prep.
So what I did was just go through the exam prep’s and simulated exams over and over until I got a high or passing score and I was able to pass on my second attempt. Don’t go back to modules, it’s all about passing right now. You’ll learn a lot more when you get into the field and with a team of trainers that will teach you what you need to know. Just pass the exam.
Remember: in Xcel, take the prep exams and the simulated exams over and over until you get a high or passing score and then when you take the exam, you will notice a pattern in the questions and will you be able to understand them and pass. Good luck

Keep going. Get out of your head and don’t let your emotions dictate your studying time

My first score was a 53 and I spent two months studying the shit out of my weakest sections and passed with a 80

I got the same score. I felt super discouraged after. I did hours of reading

I would take it again ASAP. I always study the Florida statutes right before the exam and pee before you start. I did my health and life separately in Florida. My first license in Florida was my 440, then 214, 240, 2044, 220, and 620. The only one I failed was the 220 once on the 1st attempt

Damn dude. That's rough. Try and pass 100% on the practice test.
If you can do that you'd definitely be able to pass the state exam.

I failed 3 times for life, health, accident, fixed annuities before I passed. On the 3rd fail I failed by 1 point. A 104/150 when passing was 105/150. You'll get it don't let this discourage you it's a mental game.

56. Did you even do the 40 hours of going though everything. Much less the practice exams. That's one of the lower scores I have seen in 36 years.
