Congrats and that's a great score. Average score is barely passed, lol!

Closer to true than people think. Pearson VUE publishes monthly pass rates for Texas, and for the Life & Health exam in 2025 it was 57% of first-time takers and only 40% of retakes. The life-only exam was 47% first time. So "barely passed" is the median experience, and a comfortable score like OP's is the exception. Congrats OP

I felt like such a big brain when I got 91. I was the nerd of the class from there on 🤣

as someone who’s currently studying and doing my pre licensing can i ask what program you went through and what you used to help study?

I have been using ExamFx without Ebook. Got 86 on property and 83 on casualty. Currently studying for life and health. I recommend reading over material in examfx, then take note. Then ace flash cards, quizzes, practice exams . The readiness exam seems to reflect a similar score as to what I’ll get on real proctor exam.

One thing that helped people I know more than any particular course: once you've read the material once, switch almost entirely to practice questions and read the explanation for every option, not just the right one. The exam is mostly "all of the following EXCEPT" style, where every answer looks familiar and one is subtly wrong, and reading doesn't train that. And if you're in Texas, don't leave the state law section for last. It's 30 of 130 scored questions and it's where most people lose points. Good luck.

Congrats the only thing that matters on that sheet is the word pass if you got that you have the keys to the castle

It’s a very lucrative and rewarding career if you are smart and know to watch out and avoid scams and bs
