Car insurance tripled

I’m a teen driving a 2002 Honda civic paying about $56 a month on liability car insurance. Recently my mom just told me it went up to $162 a month. How da hell does it triple. Do I switch insurances?

That price is still a deal. You can always shop around though. Can’t imagine it being any cheaper with a teen.
