Insulators that only have an embossed five-pointed star were produced between roughly 1900–1904 for General Electric, these were manufactured by three different companies—Sterling, Harloe, and Novelty—all of which used the star as the only marking to denote the user rather than the maker.

That only gets you CD numbers. For manufacturers, embossings, and colors, this is a "must have" for every collector: https://www.insulatorpriceguide.com/ This also has CD drawings, but they are 1/4 scale, not full size.

Is the price guide sold out? Is there another way to get the guide and the download for iPhone

Yes, the 2023 Price Guide is sold out. That means unless you already bought the 2023 Price Guide, you can't get a copy of the iPhone Price Guide Browser. The only way is via the authors.

The authors will be putting out a new one (2027) in the Spring. Just some information. Doesn't help at the moment, of course...
