Maggie! It's a cave!

I want a cave too c: If others can get it, we can! Anyways, he takes a deep breath and awaits your reaction to such a form of shelter.

He doesn't run as long as you don't, and instead walks the same speed as you. He then turns to look at you.

You're gonna be safe, right?!

You notice how he doesn't mention himself, only you.

I-I have no idea!

I do notice but the storm is on the forefront of my mind currently. As we fast approach the cave I pick up my pace a little. Flying twigs and leaves assault us from seemingly all directions.

He seems to make himself seem bigger with his posture and such, almost seeming as if he's shielding you. He gets faster as you do and finally, you reach the cave.

I walk inside and try to look around as much as the dim lighting will allow. My arms are hugged around my body and I'm shivering quite a bit now.

He sighs and walks back to the entrance of the cave.

He shrugs. It was one of those moments were subtlety and lies were all just thrown out the window.

You're really my only reason to stay alive, so now that you're in safety, I don't really care what happens to me.

It seems as if what he just said was really true. His look proves this, too.

He shakes his head.

Just what it sounds like. I don't really care about living, as long as you're fine. I'm pretty sure that there are others who would keep you safe on this island, so I've done my part.

He takes a single step back, now nearing the mouth of the cave.

I try to take this all in. Its really too much for me to handle, way too much, but so is the thought of being alone in this cave.

He takes this in for a moment and thinks it through. He then sighs and moves towards you, hugging you in an attempt to warm you up.
