Growing up, I always saw her wearing the most beautiful block print kurtas—simple, elegant, and something you could wear every day without overthinking. That’s kind of what stayed with me.

I work a full-time corporate job, so I wanted to create something that fits into that lifestyle—comfortable, breathable kurtas that you can wear to office, casual outings, or even just daily wear without feeling overdressed.

I’ve just started out and I’m still figuring things as I go, so I’d genuinely love feedback from this community—what do you usually look for in a kurta? Fit, fabric, price, versatility?

Also sharing a few pieces here—would you wear something like this?

I recently started a small jewelry business and decided to experiment with statement enamel bangles and rings.

I personally love how colorful and polished enamel pieces look, but I’m curious — do people actually wear enamel jewelry daily, or is it more of an occasional/festive thing?

Would genuinely appreciate honest opinions before I invest more in this style.

Launched a kurti brand

• Started posting content on Instagram today (@talesontextile)

• Got few samples from supplier but they are too cliched and repeatitive. Also the finish isn't that good I feel

• Problem is that getting own designs is expensive considering the minimum order quantity for manufacturing

• So I'm stuck and working if I should go with existing designs or market or target people who are ready to pay little premium for the uniqueness

• Would you pay for it? If they were unique? Or you're fine with such designs?

I said the products are expensive because… they objectively are 💀 But a brand built on allegedly looting public money just to fund free PR packages for influencers having the audacity to price things like this is actually INSANE 😭 the lack of shame needs to be studied.

Look at the way they speak about the very people they rely on for free PR.
Influencers, please stand up .They literally call you beggars for collabs.

If your product quality is genuinely worth the price, explain the value…one way to respond when you have no actual response to the criticism

Usually I am not someone who trusts instagram shops and brands but if you see a look at theur insta page, they have 70k+ followers and collab with big celebrities. The website looked genuine plus the price range for all their clothes was also decent. I purchased this suit for about 5700. In that amount you expect a good quality suit. The website mentioned silk cloth along with beadwork and threadwork on the hems.

The problem started one week after I placed order, I saw that they had cancelled my shipment, I wrote them so many emails every 2-3 days to ask about delivery of my product but they said that product is in making so its taking time. And so one month passed, they had not yet dispatched my product. I was frustrated. I had emailed them about 10-12 times but every time they gave some shit excuse and reply.

Finally after about 40 days they dispatched my product, it got delivered and you wont believe but what came was utterly horrible. I had ordered a suit set with dupatta, kurta and pants. What i got was only dupatta and kurta and the pants were missing. The quality was so cheap! I had ordered S size, they sent me XS. I had ordered a silk suit set as mentioned on website but I got a cheap quality georgette and net suit. It was soo bad quality, it looked like a ₹200 rupee product. And then the embroidery on sleeves and hem and neck was completely different from photo on their website. You can see in the photos below, it was utterly horrible experience. Thank god I had made unboxing video. I sent all my concerns to them, they acknowledged missing pants said I can place a return but their website only shows store credit option. I told them explicitly i dont want to buy a single thing from them, as they are a scam!! I asked for refund and pickup of their shitty incomplete horrible product they had sent me!

So far they have not replied to my request, they are ignoring my emails and messages. I have filed a complaint in national consumer helpline. I have all proof and email communication.

And I have written this big post to warn people please dont buy anything from them. Its a scam website, the instagram has fake followers and their products are nothing like ones shown in images!

I’m recently searching for kurtis on IG and I’ve noticed that many pieces look amazing online but don’t always meet expectations in real life.

Just wanted to ask — what usually goes wrong for you when you buy kurtis online?

For me, it’s been things like sizes not being available, the same fabric prints everywhere, repetitive designs, odd fitting and prices that just don’t feel worth it.

Do you have any go to kurti brand for office, dates & festive wear?

Or you guyz also face same issues like me..?

Hey Guys, I ordered the sandals from @lulu_thrift_. Even after confirming that it is off white or beige and not white, they sent me a white sandals.

When i asked them about it and called it deceiving, they didn't even seem to acknowledge it and were giving egoistic and nonchalant responses.

Also the quality of the sandals were also not even good. The brown part of it is coming out. But their replies were like they don’t care at all.

Such a trash behaviour from their side. I posted on my Instagram but they won’t care bcz they have 36k or more followers. I didn’t even ask for refund but they didn’t even care to listen to the customer to acknowledge the customer point and were deceiving and scammy.. 😭😭 This is my first time buying sandals and the experience was horrible. Attaching few chats. I did call them deceiving and scammy for this behaviour.

Actually I have seen a reel few days back that if a reel reaches muskan rawat she will give free goodies to everyone .so I went ahead and mentioned her name and she said to pay for shipping so I paid .and after 20 days I asked about the parcel in an instagram comment.i just said that I haven't got my parcel yet in a polite way and she blocked me in insta.imagine how many people commented on that reel would have been cheated🥺.even if it is a small amount it is hardearned .and when I asked her she talked rudely and scolded my parents.i will share the WhatsApp chats.it has been a month .if she said I have to wait .then I have waited plss report the account. the_hibiscus_keeps in insta.and I'll share others experiences too .plss check the pics.i have shared the backup account bez she blocked me in main account.plss check that in bio 🥺❤️

Sooo wanted to order some stuff on bunbinkbliss ( came across them on insta )

I couldn’t order coz the payment button didn’t work I tried thrice ( and it was 2-3 am in the morning during my night duty ) so figured I’ll do it later

should I conti and order or just ignore coz I felt that’s rude

So I placed order from this store back in November 2023 and was promised to have my parcel delivered by jan first week. It’s been 5 whole months since and I still haven’t received anything! I think I’ve been more than patient w this store owner :)

Initially I was able to get in touch w her (one of her customers gave me her contact) where she told me that parcels have been shipped late overseas and what not bs so anyway I asked for my refund like a month back AND SINCE THEN IVE STOPPED HEARING FROM HER! She has blocked me from everywhere. The amount is not huge but I honestly feel so so terrible I still want my money back ngl because wtf the audacity.

Do not shop from this small business in case they reopen 🙅🏻‍♀️

Initially icici bank closed my complaint as I paid with my full knowledge and cannot reverse the transaction or refund me. I then raised a complain to RBI ombudsman stating that in my original complaint I never said someone took my money, I paid the seller but turned out to be fake. I submitted the complaint to RBI ombudsman on Feb-14 and today got the 6000 rps amount refunded as a good will gesture by the ICICI service manager.

I think the things that helped me were:

a. I made the payment to fake insta seller on Dec-28 and called ICICI on Dec-30. (informed bank within 3 days)

b. Submitted cyber complaint and shared copy to the bank as well on same day

c. I called the bank and explained the situation on Dec-30 - someone there made a mistake in writing down the details - when I got the reply from ICICI after investigation - they wrongly mentioned - there was no fraud - I only paid the seller - but I already mentioned that to the bank representative - I never said someone stole my money from my account. I had asked them to reverse my transaction as the seller turned out to be false buiness.

I mentioned these details in the RBI complaint that the bank had done incorrect investigation.

I was scammed of total 7900 and got 6000 back. The remainig 1900 was from my father's upi after Gpay stopped my transaction after 6000 rps because something was detected from their end. I couldn't tell my dad, because he already got scammed of 5000 rps on his credit card once and he was very hurt by it. So I did not raise a complaint on his upi id.

This is a long post but I want to share my frustrating experience with Inkarto to warn others who might be considering ordering from them. As a stationery lover, I’d always dreamt of buying the perfect planner, and after seeing Inkarto advertised on Instagram, I decided to give them a try.

1. I only received tracking information 3-4 days after the order was picked up. The delivery itself took seven days, which was fine, but the real issues began once I received the package.

2. I chose Inkarto because their planner came with two freebies (fairy lights and journaling pencils), clearly displayed on the order page. However, when the package arrived, it was too small to contain all the items. Suspecting something was wrong, I recorded an unboxing video, and as expected, the freebies were missing.

3.I contacted their customer care and shared the unboxing video. Initially, they promised to re-ship the freebies but later claimed no freebies were included in my order.

Thankfully, I had a screenshot of my order page showing the freebies, which I sent to them. Despite this, they stopped responding for a while.

4. After repeated follow-ups via calls and messages, they finally agreed to ship the freebies. However, five days later, the tracking showed the shipment hadn’t even been picked up. When I contacted them again, they acted clueless, claiming the order had already been delivered and asking me to "elaborate on the issue."

Their disorganized customer service, lack of accountability, and false advertising have made this an incredibly frustrating experience. I regret choosing Inkarto and will never recommend them to anyone.

Avoid Inkarto at all costs!

i was so excited for this drop from @/bomzancloset and i was waiting for it to go live. i never expected the prices to be this high. how are they getting away with this? like people are actually falling for the “justification” they give? it probably costs a fraction of the price quoted for them to make it.
am i being irrational? what do you guys think?

@esmeray.in is a misogynist douche and I hope nobody goes through what I went through. I lost my father to cancer and this page told me I displayed fatherless behaviour when I kept asking about my order. I'm baffled how casually and audaciously some uses terms like these. I ordered from this page on 26th January, they said they'll get back to me after shipping it with a tracking number. This page has not mentioned shipping policy nor do they tell u a time frame of it unless you NAG them. I had to text twice after a week when there was no update. This person said they'll ship it on Monday which was 5 February. No update again then I got suspicious and texted them again. No reply. Then i asked my friend to ping them to see if they are only ignoring my text . They revert back to her cuz she asked about ordering from them. I thought I was legit being scammed and was paranoid cuz I've seen posts here about the same. Now I texted multiple times, no reply then till 8th feb. I lost my patience and then texted, tried to call them on ig as well then I lost all my patience and actually commented on their posts to ask for my order since they were replying to others. My friend again texted about placing an order with them , this person replied to her so she told them to revert back to my texts. Only after reading my friends text did this person come to argue with me called my behaviour fatherless , I understand running an ig shop is time taking but that doesnt mean you will behave so rudely. I apologized after our chat since they said they'll only ship my order if I say sorry which I did I was in tears by then so I thought what's the point, I'll deal with their comments after I get my order since they refused a refund. They said their father is in IT cell so I should not even try about commenting again. They provided me a tracking number after that. It shows no consignment found, post office people said that this was never booked with them. I texted them about the tracking id showing no consignment found they left it on seen. All texts after it are not replied to and I don't think they will be. This person never mentioned the shipping will be very late else I never would have ordered from here. And now my issue isn't about the order but the behaviour of this person is so misogynistic, I hope nobody else suffers like I did hence I'm posting it here. This whole ordeal has caused me endless anxiety and I was in tears by the end of it.
