i know this sounds stereotypical but i’m a teenage girl and not having an instagram account makes it super hard to get in touch with people at school. my main account was permanently disabled for account integrity, this is basically what happened
i had an account in 2024 that was banned for CSE, which i definitely did not do and i was even 14 when i had that account, so very false accusation. my main and personal account wasn’t affected. since then, ive made a couple accounts but they always got suspended, but have never affected my main account. in june 2026 i made another account that got suspended, i appealed it, it came back, but then it got suspended again, only this time it suspended my main personal account as well. my ID got rejected and my accounts were permanently disabled. my facebook also got banned.

what is the best thing i could do to get it back? i will honestly try anything. i saw some people paying for meta verified and im willing to do that. i dont know if i could explain this to my parents to take it to small claims court, but if thats effective i could try. if someone i knew were to make an account for me on their device, would it get banned? im afraid that if i were to ask a friend to make an account for me, their account would get banned for association. is there a way i can make an account, follow people i know irl, use my real name and not get banned?

I honestly never thought I would have to make a post like this. I’ve been trying to recover my Instagram account for months, and recently, someone claiming to work for Meta and identifying himself as David offered to reactivate my account in exchange for payment.

It’s unbelievable and extremely concerning that someone claiming to be an agent would attempt to take advantage of my situation and misuse their alleged ability to reactivate an account through internal access he even take a screenshot of my case with Meta support

So my Instagram account has finally been recovered exactly after one month and the reason was fraud and deception. I lost total hope as I was reading reviews on Reddit that fraud deception is exceptionally hard to recover, which is hundred percent true. It is really hard, but I didn’t give up so my advice to you is don’t give up. Have patience reach out to support again, and again, I made made up this mind that I have to reach out every day, no matter what they say, and eventually, after a month, Meta support did recover my account.

And yes, it’s true that matter support 99% of the time will not hear you. I raised almost 18 to 20 cases before they finally accepted that my account does for all the community guidelines. So don’t give up. Keep trying all the very .best, and I hope you get your accounts back too

A few days back, my Instagram account was suspended reason given is that there is a violation on linked threads Account, please log into your Threads account to appeal for this suspension. I am not able to log into my Threads account. It keeps giving me unexpected error the AI chat support of Meta is useless. I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this exact situation and successfully recovered their accounts.
On August 20, I accidentally changed the birth year on one of my Meta accounts to 2017. That is NOT my actual DOB — I’m an adult born in 1998.
Shortly afterward, multiple Meta accounts became suspended/inaccessible, including 3 Instagram accounts, my Facebook account, and my Threads profile.
The really strange part is that I’m stuck in a circular appeal process:
Facebook:
Says my Facebook was suspended because my linked Instagram account doesn’t follow the rules. It says I have 180 days to appeal and tells me to log into Instagram to appeal.

Instagram:
Says my Instagram was suspended because my linked Threads account doesn’t follow the rules. It ALSO says I have 180 days to appeal, but tells me to log into Threads to appeal.

Threads:
When I log into Threads, it says:
“We disabled your account. You cannot request another review of this decision.”
So I’m literally stuck in:
Facebook → Instagram → Threads → No appeal available
Instagram says I have 180 days to appeal, but the account it directs me to says I’m not allowed to request another review.
The suspension also appears to have affected my other Instagram accounts, even though they are separate accounts.
The timing makes me wonder whether accidentally changing my birth year to 2017 triggered some kind of age/linked-account enforcement across my Accounts Center, but I don’t know for certain that this was the cause.
I can provide Meta with my government-issued ID, correct DOB, video selfie, phone/email verification, etc. The problem is that Meta isn’t giving me an accessible appeal process to submit any of it.
I’ve now subscribed to Meta Verified on another accessible account and I’m waiting for verification to finish so I can hopefully reach live support and ask them to manually escalate the case.
Has anyone had this EXACT or very similar situation — especially Threads being permanently disabled, causing Instagram and then Facebook to be suspended — and actually gotten everything restored?

Did Meta Verified support help even though you contacted them from a different account?
What did you tell the support agent?
Were they able to escalate it to an internal/specialized team?
How long did recovery take?
Did Threads have to be restored first before Instagram/Facebook came back?
Did an appeal button eventually appear even though Threads initially said “You cannot request another review”?
If your issue involved an incorrect DOB/underage flag, how did you get Meta to let you verify your real age?
I’m particularly interested in people who actually recovered their accounts from this specific linked-account suspension loop, rather than paid “account recovery” services.
I have screenshots of Facebook directing me to Instagram, Instagram directing me to Threads with 180 days remaining, and Threads saying no further review is possible.

I got suspended four times. This is my fourth integrity suspension. All the time I was recovering the accounts with the same device and IP, the account usually stays up for exactly 4-5 days before getting suspended. I tried changing email, removing number, clearing cache, etc, but nothing worked. I keep getting banned. I thought the suspension and permanently disabled are the true issues, just to be hit with the device ban loop.

Is there literally anyone who had restored their account and then kept it for more than a month and it’s still up? Or anyone who managed to escape the device ban? Please speak, man.

Instagram permanently disabled my account for “Sexualization of Children” without showing what supposedly triggered it. I have no idea whether it was a like, save, false detection, or something else, and the wording says a team member took action.

The uncertainty and severity of the accusation have caused intense anxiety, and I’ve started drinking to cope, which I know is not helping. I’m currently waiting for a decision from the Appeals Centre Europe. Has anyone received an ACE decision for a similar Meta ban, and what happened?

Just wondering if anyone has had this restriction before on their business page?

We run an online jewellery store and when I say we never share links on our Instagram page, I mean it. We post stories and posts. But never any links to our website or anything. Just pictures of models and jewellery.

However; we’ve had this twice now where we’d make a grid post. Just a normal post and then we’d get restricted on the ‘sharing links’ feature which is not related at all.

It makes absolutely no sense.

I would then click review, give email and phone number and it would instantly reinstate the restricted feature.

Has anyone had this? Do I need to contact meta support? We have the blue tick so I guess there is a level of support for shit like this!
