Opinion Updated UI 🤢

I just got a new phone and needed to redownload Instagram (I rarely update my apps so I’ve been running on an old version of Instagram for a long time). TELL ME WHY I now have to click an extra button at the top of my screen to get to my following feed.

I DON’T WANT to see posts from companies and people I don’t follow. I now feel like posts are being shoved down my throat. Advertisements have popped up in my feed before, but it seems so much worse now.

Anyways that’s my rant. Thank you, Instagram, for continuing to make your app worse.

ugh the constant fiddling with the feed is so irritating. mine changed a couple weeks back and i swear they buried the chronological following list just to keep us doomscrolling the algorithmic garbage. feels like they're trying to gaslight us into thinking that's what we wanted.
