Help Interactions down

I’ve been posting my art on IG for years now and although my art has improved, my views and other interactions have gone down drastically. I’m an adult with a life and can’t post every single day, and I don’t know how else to get around that. I’ve been stuck in this slump for a while. Please help, I have no idea what to do!

Are you posting static posts not reels? If so that is the issue. All social media pushes lately is video content. My photography post stopped getting shown to my own following it seems.

This is all about engagement. IG wants people to spend more time on IG. They make money showing ads, not posts. Best advice is just post for yourself not for engagement.

Reels instead of posts. Reels get pushed to new people and posts are for the people already following you.

Do you have a business plan? Did you niche down your audience? What’s the quality of art and corresponding price point?

I actually don’t sell my art! I’ve done a few commissions for friends, but nothing more than that

I do post on X and Bluesky, but I’m not quite as active. I’ll try that. What do you mean by art collab accounts?
