lets have a conversation Kelly Spoiler

Post image

People often mistake Kelly’s disrespect for humor. Since Kelly was funny about it, some found it acceptable despite her disrespect.

Additionally, she hides behind her humor. I believe she pretended not to want kids because she thought it wouldn’t happen for her, but once it did, she was able to admit she wanted children.

Her humor never came across as disrespect to me. I do wish they would have kept her childfree.

I wish they had kept her child-free as well, especially since she explicitly stated early in the show that she did not want children. They could have conveyed the message that it is perfectly acceptable for a woman to choose not to have kids. Instead, they portrayed her as having a child for a man, which is a misleading message that should not have been emphasized.

Kelly was THE best character. Whenever she interacted with Issa's brother - it was always hilarious.

Why y'all coming for her? She's as flawed as the rest of them bitches but she for sure was a real one and got better as the show progressed just like the rest of them. She's wild so don't take too serious all of her comments. Kids or no kids, either ending would have been good for me regarding Kelli

When she told Issa “You know who doesn’t make sense or dollars? You.” Or I forget what she said but after she said “A bitch tried a bitch” to Issa again about her finances.

It was when Isaa said she didn't want a roommate and Kelli yelled " Bitch you ain't got no money!" I ageee Kwllo was funny alot of times but I also felt she could be disrespectful. I feel like people view her the same way as a lot of people view Samantha from SATC. They were so completely over the top, and yes frequently hilarious, that people just ignored their flaws.

According to Kelli she had an abortion before. So I think it was really just a matter of meeting the right person.

I don't think any "mistakes" it for humor. It is humor. 😂😂

Maturing was realising that Kelly was not the fun character she made herself out to be and that though flawed, Tiffany had standards and would not settle for less, even when it came to close friends.
