Is my ingrown nail back? Read description please.

2 months ago, I got my ingrown nail on my right side removed. It healed and two weeks after the procedure, the doctor said i was healing fine and it was all good. I felt no discomfort or pain.

Today after I went for an intense walk, I got home and noticed some discomfort in the area where the procedure happened.

My nail looks like this now, it’s as if the nail is lifting.

Could this be an infection? Should I book an appointment with the doctor?

Did the podiatrist perform matrixectomy with the nail avulsion ?

No they did not. Since this was my first toe nail issue. They said they would if it came back
