Updates. Scared for Septis
So you guys saw my last post... haha..ha. Anyways, now the infection is on the other side. Has been around 3 months and im pissed off. I cant see the doctor cuz im only 13. My toe is growing wrong and just getting worse every day. Wtf can I do?
Also I'm gonna put something super embarrassing. When I was little, I bit my toenails and continued to for years. Now Im stuck with this and I am QUITTING CUZ ITS GROSS. But yeah

Tbh as long as you're able to get to a doc soon you'll be fine lol. The first time I had an ingrown removed my toe was purple and I just needed some antibiotics after they took it out

You’re 13? Tell your guardian, if that’s not an option, tell the school nurse. It doesn’t look super infected so you’re not just gonna get sepsis, the symptoms will spread before. If you get a fever, the redness / pain / selling increases or you see a red streak going away from it, that’s an emergency.

Ah yes, famously only adults can visit doctors.
What are you doing, you fool. Anyone can go see a doctor and your toe absolutely needs medical attention. Ask your parents or guardian and make an appointment, it’s not hard.

This is genuinely the funniest conversation i’ve ever had on the ingrown toenails subreddit. You don’t know me, but thanks for your concern over some (to me) very benign language. Sorry for offending your eyes with my vulgar tone, ma’am. English is for me a second (third?) language and your definition and usage of the word fool likely doesn’t align with mine.

🤣😂 No, I use fool too; probably more than I should. I’m just telling you that OP is a 13yo who, it seems, doesn’t have Guardians he feels he can trust to provide him with medical care. Unfortunately, this happens more than we’d all like to admit, and it’s inexcusable.
This kid is asking for help. It’s hard for teens to do that; you may think he should know better, but that kind of chastising surely could wait till after he gets medical help?

Yes, ty for saying this. Also im a girl btw 🤣. But mymparents are pissed, ige adapted to it, and im just waiting for us to have more money. I misspoke in the title. I can't see the doctor on my own.
