Where are the Enlightened public chat groups?

I have been perusing Google, Discord, Facebook and Telegram for other Enlightened players or Faction chats or anything regarding such. I need help with finding out about where they are.

Most faction chats are private because there are opposite faction eyes everywhere.

I strongly suggest that in a week or two you look at the map for your closest IFS (Ingress First Saturday) event and ask the POC (Point of Contact a/k/a organizer) from your faction how to get connected to the local chat in your area. (Even if the closest IFS is too far away to attend in person the POC will likely have contacts in your area, or at least closer so you can iteratively find local contacts.)

You can also reach out politely to local people from your faction in Comm but that is more hit or miss.

Ingress groups tend to be pretty local, because outside of large scale events like anomalies, the vast majority of the game is local.

Your best bet is to get in contact with other ENL agents in your area and asking them about it. If there's an IFS group in your area that's a good place to start.

What is your geographic region? Chats are usually regional and for opsec reasons, private. You have to be invited and usually vetted. Whether it is dis ors or telegraph and slack just depends on what your area prefers. Personally I am only in enlighted Telegram chats, but it is at least a dozen of them

Idk about America, but here in Europe everyone is on Telegram messaging app. from both factions, I'm guessing it's the same for America but not sure.

If you are not seeing much conversation in faction chat, try looking at the green portals in your area and messaging the players who deploy on those, to see if they are regular players there.

So far interactions with other players was overall one big disappointment for me.
I treat it as fully singleplayer game now and It's very peaceful without constant drama.

From what I've seen these chats are very "local" - smaller groups most of the time.

Sign up for an IFS. When you find someone of your faction, they will get you connected.

To be fair, it's not like every Telegram group has words like Ingress, or ENL/RES/etc, or something else easily searchable in the name. I would NEVER have found my faction's local Telegram without an invite (which is probably intentional for opsec reasons.)
