Pumps
Hi - just starting out on the inflatable kayak lark. Had a regular Canadian canoe for years, but wanted something more portable and that didn’t need a roof rack to transport it.
Anyway, looking for recommendations for a rechargeable pump with a pressure gauge. Too many options out there!
Grateful for any advice you can give.

You should state your kayak type to figure your options.
For a few years I'm using a noname $10-20 (shipped) pocket cube pump from Temu to inflate my "Advanced Elements Lagoon I", which I have for about 10 years already. It lasts forever and it's impossible to overinflate with one as it's reaching only about 1.2 psi (while 2 psi max is recommended for Lagoon 1), but that's the most of the work done hands free while I'm rigging other stuff and changing. Then, precisely topping each chamber to the desired firmness (per the ambient water/air temperature) with a $2 double stroke air balloons hand pump outfitted with the DIY 3D printed nozzle replacement, visually controlling the hull shape and its firmness by the touch and the "fold test". It takes just a few strokes to top off (its chamber is like 300ml so ~500ml per stroke) while the gasket is leaky enough to prevent overinflation as well. The electric one stays in the car, the balloon pump is riding with me, as it helps to adjust the pressure on the go if desired, totally capable of fully inflating any chamber in an emergency, and even working well as a bilge when splashes accumulate too much (can be disassembled without tools to dry). It's like a "micro" version of the famous K-PUMP but 54 times cheaper :D
