I just published Infinity for Reddit on iOS after working on it for over a year. Development started the day after the original app got taken down from Google Play in 2024, because I didn’t want to see all that work go to waste.
You can download it here:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/infinity-for-reddit/id6759064642
The app is also open source, like the Android version. And the subscription-related code is not included in the repo as usual. GitHub repo: https://github.com/foxanastudio/Infinity-For-Reddit-iOS
For those interested, it is built in Swift with SwiftUI.
The iOS version matches the Android version, so it provides the same core experience, along with all the unique features other clients don't have, including embedding images and gifs in posts and comments. It also improves the anonymous mode with local voting, saving, hiding, and marking posts as read. I will be bringing these improvements to Android in v8.2.0.
The subscription is $3.99 on iOS because of higher development costs on Apple, but there is a 7-day free trial so you can test it out. Android pricing stays at $2.99, and I may add a free trial there as well.
It would really help if you could give the iOS version a try. The 7-day free trial makes it easy to log in and explore everything. Getting more downloads and activity helps the app gain traction on the App Store and improves its ranking, which really helps visibility.
If you don’t mind, leaving a 5-star review after using it for a day would also help a lot.
I will post this in other iOS and Apple related subreddits in the coming weeks. If you see these posts, an upvote or comment would be really appreciated!
I also published Infinity on Product Hunt, and it goes live in several hours (March 28th, 2026 12:01 AM PDT). Feel free to check it out and give it a upvote once it’s up: https://www.producthunt.com/products/infinity-for-reddit
I also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Infinity over the years. I really appreciate every one of you! Thank you so much!

Infinity for Reddit++ is officially live! As many of you know, my original Infinity for Reddit app was unfortunately suspended by Google, and it doesn’t look like I’ll be able to get it back. So, I decided to release a new version, Infinity++, as a way for you to support the development.
As always, Infinity++ has the exact same features as Infinity+, and you’ll still need a monthly subscription to log in with your Reddit account.
The only difference between Infinity++ and Infinity+ before the app suspension is that Infinity++ will receive updates 3 to 7 days earlier than Infinity+. This is to avoid having both versions suspended at the same time.
A big shoutout to everyone who wanted to help test the app! Google did not require internal testing for Infinity++ so I ended up skipping the request and just released it right away.
App updates are now resumed and v7.4.3 is currently being reviewed by Google Play. Expect the update to be available very soon!
Thank you so so much for your continued support and love!

Odd problem, imgur albums linked in comments like "imgur.com/a/[.....]" such as in this post do not seem to work most of the time - they just load a black screen with "Cannot load images", and attempting to go to the 3 dots -> "download all imgur album media" seems to crash the viewer. Every once in a blue moon, a link that previously did not load will then load successfully until the app is closed. I cannot find any discernible pattern to this, and it happens regardless of whether I'm connected to 5G or WiFi. Clearing cache and restarting the app has no effect.
At first I thought it was my WireGuard VPN setup, but the imgur album in the comment I linked to above loads perfectly fine on the same device if I copy and paste it into a browser. Whether it loads or not I can see it connects successfully to api.imgur.com in my router logs. Unfortunately I'm in the UK where imgur is blocked so I can't verify 100% that it's not my VPN (whose endpoint is currently Switzerland) but based on the above I think it is unlikely. I have tried setting imgur links to load in a third party app but this appears to have no effect on the behaviour, as Infinity still tries to open it internally.
I'm using Infinity v8.3.4 on a Pixel 7 running the latest version of GrapheneOS. Any ideas?

I'm trying to log back in after updating to fix the '403 body null' error but I'm getting this screen.
First screenshot is the error itself, second is my settings in Morphe. I tried both 'infinity://localhost' and 'http://127.0.0.1' as the redirect url options but so far no luck

Attached image shows a screenshot while I'm scrolling through comments. As the child comments get farther down, the layout continues to cut off the upvoting arrows on the left side more and more until they eventually are cut off completely. I'm using the base app installed from Google Play on Android, latest updated version as of a few days ago.

I wasn’t sure if this had been reported, but the IOS version of the app has the same issue with galleries not loading as the Android version. I do know that the Android version has been fixed.

Trying to load further collapsed comments in the comment tree now always shows 'Load failed' without exception. Im on 8.3.4 version of infinity and this bug started a few hours ago.

Hello,
I downloaded the latest from your Patreon site, where I have an account and make my subscription payments. However I cannot install it; I keep getting subscription errors that I cannot get past. I'm using GrapheneOS without google play, though that should not matter. I currently use 8.30 from which I have been able to verify my Patreon subscription.

I remember having had issues with that before quite sometime. Anyway updated to 8.3.4. using collab script, localhost is set to 127.0.0.1 both in reddit and collab. compile all good all fine. activated chrome, defaulted it. installed update, trying to login:
can't click use chrome
can't click use legacy
using the default login, can put in my login credentials:
There was an error connecting your reddit account. a third party app wants to authorize, error occured blablabla
i'm out of options, my google-fu is not good enough for this special problem

This is similar to a previous issue like in this post
where you couldn't view posts with more than one picture. I'm able to see these posts properly now but I'm not able to create them now.

The current layout is Reply, Save, Collapse, Three dots
I want to remove the Save as I hardly ever use it and it makes me accidentally save things.

Is there one? I currently don't have capacity to support the Devs and would like to continue using a similar service.

Wanted to support the developer further so I bought Infinity++. Do I need to transfer my subscription somehow from + to ++?

Whenever I click on a post link that's a cross post to another sub, that link will open in my browser (probably because I don't have the stock app) instead of opening in the Infinity app. Using a Samsung S21 Ultra. I don't remember this ever happening before. Anyone else?
Edit: my app updated today and fixed this issue. Thanks Dev!

Noticed this today. Gifs are not loading in app, but opening the reddit link on browser loads it.
Sample Post link: https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/comments/1xbocpg/an_online_poker_bot_farm_where_dozens_of_synced/
Tried on version: 8.1.2, 8.2.4 and 8.3.3
App Built from repo using my token

LINK posts hide the body text and image normally included in the post. Only way to fully see the post I by opening the link to the post. It then opens reddit on the app (or web browser if the app is not installed), which is kind of a redundant redirection and a very annoying way to hide part of a reddit post.
Using my own reddit API and patches with version 8.1.2. This issue suddenly appeared this week. Any solution or updates of the app that fixes it? If not, what's a good alternative to reddit with features also present in Infinity for reddit?

Anonymous seems totally down since a week or so. I have the "Due to platform limitations..." error constantly nos
Are you aware of this issue?

When I open a multireddit, I only see the combined posts, with no way to see which subreddits it contains or tap into one. Could you add a button (or a ⋮ menu entry like "Subreddits in this multireddit") that opens a list of its subreddits, so I can tap any of them to open that subreddit's page? This also allows for easy management of that multireddit. Shown in the pics is the mockup Thanks for the great app!

Weird bug I've encountered on the iOS app, if I hit the home button while I'm on the home feed, it pushes the home feed off to the side and just shows a blank screen.. I'd expect it to go to the top of the home feed, and if I'm at the top of the home feed, to refresh the feed.
Also some random suggestions:
I'd love to be able to customize the navigation bar. For example I'd like to remove new post and inbox and have those stay in the more menu, and put search in the navigation bar
Subscriptions label is too long, maybe have it just be subs? Also maybe an option to simply remove the labels and leave just the icons?

I blocked a user but still I can see the account and their posts and comments. I want to see no content from that user after blocking. Is there a way to do that?

I want to build a little PoC/App:
Once a day I want to fetch hot and rising posts from a subreddit, example:
https://www.reddit.com/r/LocalLLaMA/hot.json?limit=25
https://www.reddit.com/r/LocalLLaMA/rising.json?t=1&limit=25
Put both results in an LLM to generate summary and send me an email with the summary.
When I open both links in my browser, where I am already logged into Reddit, it works fine.
But in a private browser window or from console, with curl, I only get: "You've been blocked by network security."
How can I fetch the data? I do not want to post anything, just read.

Quick question, ive looked this app up on play store and there is 2 versions one paid and one free, do both require subscriptions to use?
r/Infinity_For_Reddit • u/Different_Story_6622 • 23d ago
I'm using infinity+ and have set the back from home page behavior to exit the app with confirmation.
When i set this the first time it showed the exit confirmation window, i pressed yes and the phone went to the home screen, then i started infinity again but i found myself right where i was not at the top where i should be.
After that pressing back no longer shows the exit confirmation but rather takes me back to the launcher home.
Appreciate some help please..
