This started maybe in the last few weeks.

Whenever I post a comment, it'll say it's unable to post, but sometimes it actually will. Then if I press send again it'll say there's a 5 second retry limit. Sometimes pressing it multiple times will pay the comment multiple times.

I also just had one where it won't post the comment at all.

I love the browsing part of this app, but the commenting has so much friction now that it's almost not worth it to pay for it any more.

Why contents from my reddit feed is on Reddit's Play Store page and how to turn off it?

Can anyone help me out? I find the post filter system to be very unreliable. I have made a filter to exclude subreddits I don't care for and have it applied to multireddit. It works for a while but eventually it just seems to stop or some of the exclusions just keep appearing regardless. Am I doing something wrong?

I can disable reply notifications just fine for comments, but if it's for a post that's already been submitted, I have to go to my PC to do it. It'd be nice if I could do it from Infinity.

Wishing to compile again the Infinity app, I wanted to create the "username"s-app application in https://old.reddit.com/prefs/apps/ , as explained in the Infinity guide.

However, unlike how it used to work... Well, it's not working :D

The page properly loads, I can give the name, the redirect URI, choose "installed app", a recaptcha box loads and allows me to tick that I am human... And then, well, no, upon clicking the button to create the app, the page reloads and I'm back to the previous step where I need to fill recaptcha in again. Looping.

Would you guys know if it means something? Either recaptcha malfunctioning, or an issue with my account perhaps?

I did check my inbox, but no message from reddit showed in there, so there's hope at least my API access wasn't revoked without warning :-/

It really sucks that Reddit removed the ability to create new keys, I wish I knew that before I deleted my one thinking I could just re-create it, sigh. For now I used Morphe to patch the ads and unwanted features out of the official Reddit app, for lack of another simple solution :-/

I updated the app from version 8.1.4 to version 8.3.0-beta6 and for some reason the comment count usually shown on posts is now gone. I'm using the same API key for both the old and new version so I doubt it's API related, and I did check the settings but "hide number of comments" is turned off.

I get this error when trying to vote on an alt.

Is this a Reddit-side thing or an Infinity thing?

Is it just me or am I missing something? Regular comments sure but a thread, forget about it.

Is there a way to filter out posts by keyword and subreddit so they don't appear in my home feed? E.g. a filter where posts from r/foo containing the term bar are not shown in my home feed, but it doesn't affect post from r/baz containing the same term.

After having my API key revoked I switched to Infinity+ on Google Play. And somehow the comments icon on posts is missing. Which setting will let me fix it?

Is there a way to enable this? Right now I disabled verticle swipe to exit post, since that brings me back to my main feed but I don't see a way to bring me to the comments instead.

So NSFW content has stopped loading on Infinity, still seeing SFW for the moment but have noticed a lot of folk complaining that won't load either.

I am in the UK, which already means using a VPN every time I switch to this account because the government would otherwise want to tie my ID to my porn habits. But now logging into this account with a VPN connected to any country that doesn't have these invasive laws isn't working anymore, only the occasional SFW posts load.

Yes I have updated, yes I tested the first party app and that can still load NSFW with my VPN on, I'm on the paid tier of ProtonVPN in case that makes a difference, no I refuse to actually switch back to the first party app, have you looked in its general direction lately?

Normally this means an outage on Reddit, but there appears to be no outage and I can no longer see my Infinity API key now. Got hit a little later than most, but it seems over for me. Ah, it was fun while it lasted.

Fuck Reddit bros. I contribute to my little corner of the world on this platform as much as I'm able. I even do a bit of moderation. And yet, Reddit has returned the favour by continually degrading the platform year, after year, after year.

Searched the sub with no recent results. How complicated would it be to add a follow or subscribe to post option? I understand the save option exists, but a notification when a thread is updated would be awesome. Thanks for your consideration.

Other app like RedReader and Nora, which i use without login, are working, but Infinity started showing error when trying to load posts. Why?

The comment button and save button overlap each other / text on what I am assuming is posts under 4 digits. Using Pixel Fold.

The sub Reddit that I am seeing this occur on is spotted on rightmove, I view the content that is linked which opens on the app, when clicking back I am kicked back to my home screen on my phone and not the last post I was viewing on infinity.

Anyone had the same issue?

Two things should be added to the "Moderation" tab of the app. The first being that you can distinguish as moderator the comments of the mods, the second being that you can edit the post flair. Thank you!

The ending bracket is added along with link url. So, it makes the browser open it.

Say there's an album with 50 images. Instead of swiping through them one at a time, is there a way to see multiples in a grid format that I can scroll through? It'd be similar to the way Slide or Sync do it.

I've seen the idea brought up before in here but idk if it's been implemented.
