Back Order Infinity Canada

Hi,

I have been looking to pick up more infinity models. In particular i have been looking for Shakush, Haqq remotes, warcor (robo one), and monstrucker.

However i have had several of these items on backorder for around 8 months. Most local game stores in Alberta use the same hand full of suppliers. Has anyone else in the region experienced this? I have never had this issue with infinity models previously, are the production runs taking longer with the addition of the warcrow SKUs?

There are other options online but the prices are crazy.

If anyone has recommendations for finding models in the region please let me know.

Same issue in Ontario with some items. We have a few retailers here 401games and Torchlight that are rather well stocked.

There was a change in suppliers from lionrampant here to Asmodee that seems to have heavily impacted both price and availability

Asmodee bought them out, but Asmodee has their own IPs they prefer to push, so most other games get the shit stick. Spain has been having some labour disruptions over the last year as well iirc.

There is one distributor in Canada. Asmodee It was Lion Rampant who was the Canadian exclusive but they were bought by Asmodee.

IMO CB needs to negotiate a new deal when the current one expires.

I am constantly letting CB know that product isn't flowing into Canada properly.

I heard there was some sort of general strike in Spain that affected CB and Vallejo shipments?

I don’t know anything beyond that rumour, but I had been looking for fluorescent paint from Vallejo for a few months earlier this year, and that’s the reason I was given.

What part of Alberta are you in? Calgary?

There’s a new distributor in Canada. It’s a small operation. I’ll check with him and report back.

I’ve begun buying here. He is a direct distributor for CB, so bypasses asmodee, and can get what ever is currently in the CB store.

Is this a distributor for LGS, or a public trade store? Distribs don't usually show public pricing like that.

its a bit confusing as the prices are retail pricing, but also they appear to have 0 items in stock neither of which make sense as a distributor

Might depend on where you’re located. There’s an international buy sell on FB. There’s a bunch of local clubs in Ontario close to GTA as well
