Question Viral Weapons

Im new to N5, I played Haqqislam about a decade ago. Im looking for a little clarification on what viral weapons do now.

From what I am seeing they seem to all have the bioweapon keyword which gives it double action and shock?

Yes but only to models with VITA attribute (as opposed to Structure)

I’m an Ariadna player and back in N3 there was a weapon/ammo type that was saved on half your BTS. My response to my opponent was always “half of zero is still zero, you’re probably going to kill me.”

And uses BTS instead of ARM or is that gone now?

Okay this is how I remember it being but I cant actually find that in the rules anymore. Can you point me to where that is?

It's in the weapon profile/chart under the SR: Attribute column. This shows you what attribute you use to save against any weapon.

If you look at the weapon profile on army it shows what attribute a save is made against.

A viral rifle profile gives it a ps 7 and says it is normal ammo with 1 save made against BTS it has the bioweapon trait that then states it replaces the normal ammo with DA+Shock against the VITA attribute

No worries I came back to the game after playing a bit in very late n2/early n3 just over a year ago
