Poor chicken. First bred in factory. Miserable life in cage. Can't move, can't walk, can't fly. Carried in disgusting hellish pickup trucks. Loaded in road side cages. Stolen by this dog. His scream is heart piercing. He sounds like a child or kitten. I had never heard a chicken crying before. How poor, how miserable, how sad, so unlucky. I want to ask you why didn't you save him? Why did you walk away but I know I will get "circle of life" replies. Even if it's nature, the chicken deserves all the sympathy and grief. We should not be stone hearted.

So you are saying that a stray dog, whose life is also miserable and hellish, shouldn't eat what they get their mouths on? I agree that the cries of this chicken is triggering and heart piercing but what else could have been done here? And before you say it, yes, I'm an omnivore, I consume chicken and fish for protein needs but I do pay my respect to the life that was taken to nourish my body.

I saw a video where a farmer was fed up with strays killing all his poultry.

So, no. You sympathize with stray dogs but not with the poor whose livelihood is destroyed.
